I am at work. I have 3 very different things that I want to talk to T about...

1. the marriage seminar and my unexpected reaction to one particular thing I thought I was past.

2. cognitive distortions (she mentioned doing this last time) and how it relates to me and doctors (very now oriented)

3. ughh now I can't remember the third... probably this is the one I should talk about ...maybe my subsconscious is blocking it...

I am addicted to the HBO show In Treatment. Just started watching them...(thanks SD, I watched on Amazon Prime and then found it at my local library)

I had a different reaction than other people to Paul the therapist. I really like him and he reminds me of my xT... (I am only on episode 8 so I dont' think I've been to the big boundary crossing thing yet so don't ruin it for me)... not sure how I feel about Gina yet....

yea...<eyeroll> Paul...I can't tell you why I don't like him because I'll ruin it for you.

So hot today...I actually went down to the dock and dangled my feet into the ice cold lake..it felt SO freaking good. I just wanted to dive in and go for a swim, but I know it's way too cold yet. A few more weeks maybe...

Took the MIL out shopping, met son for lunch.

Mastodon, do you need to be reassured that you need to be reassured? lol. If it's any help at all, I don't find you to be needy in the least.

Getting ready to drop the kids off and head to see mc... This is our first appointment after a month long break I think this appointment will decide whether or not h and I are going to continue on with mc or not.

ugh. Good Luck Healed!

BTW - I talked with an old friend, her daughter had a mastectomy after aggressive breast cancer was found in one breast. She's just 23! They say she got it from her cell phone, apparently a lot of girls keep it in their bra, and they even sell bras with cell phone holders! I didn't know it was a common habit. Keep it in your purse ladies, and tell your daughters.

Yikes. That's scary. I've never kept anything in my bra (yeah, well, except, you know ) but I know people who do. My mobile lives in my pocket, like my keys and my wallet, since I don't usually carry a purse.

Thanks, wikid It does help, of course - because I know you mean it, and then it doesn't count as reassurance, in my head at least. And yes, I know, it's recursive. I need to stop thinking on those lines. At least now I know exactly what I want to say to T on Tuesday. Unless other things happen in between now and then.

Yeah, wiki, I always kept my phone in my brocket (bra pocket) until a few weeks ago when a nurse told me that it was bad. Kinda scared me because my family has a history of breast cancer - all in the left breast - and I was keeping my cell phone for years in my left brocket. ACK! Scary.

Back from my assignment.....It was at a behavioral health center with the people that I interpreted for at a group home a couple times already. It was nice to see the familiar faces, and they seemed happy to see me. I really enjoyed it even though today's events weren't well organized and they really didn't need an interpreter much of the time. I was doing more interaction with them than interpreting.

Of course, the second I left, I was hit with the deep, intense sadness of the decision I made to discontinue group T. I am really struggling. I hate how my mind tells me one thing but my heart tells me another. Damn heart.

I did not like Paul just because of his personality, attitude and insufferable "I care so much" thing.

I adored Gina.Older, cool, distant. Yes.

I liked seeing Paul act like any other patient when he was in his own sessions.

Lola...In Treatment, an HBO series. Hmmm. Why am I usin "an" instead of "a" before "hbo"? H isn't a vowel. Are you supposed to use "an" before an acronym? Crap. I can't remember!
