There needs to be time out room for punctuation abusers. As for m&ms, I never saw the point in them. But it does seem like those who like them can consume massive quantities.

I HAD to buy some m&m's recently after watching an episode of the office where kevin used jim's office while jim and pam honeymooned, and kevin ate jim's jar of m&m's. It was the crunching sound that I wanted to duplicate.

Eta: sex and punishment? I haven't even had my coffee yet!!

Why do T's make you repeat something louder that you find embarrassing and shameful, thus almost whispering it, as if they didn't hear it? (Don't think the grammars' quite correct, maybe SD will correct it for me )

I actually think my T is a bit hard of hearing. Or else it's just that my pronunciation is bad and that's why he asks me to repeat things. I dunno.

Ack. I have not even finished my coffee yet. First excessive punctuation and now punishment and sex? People, get a grip. Go read something wholesome, like Emma.
I am making homemade English Muffins.

BP - perhaps they are just hard of hearing.

No its some sadist T pleasure that they are taught, i'm sure. i know I had to repeat something last session even though I made it very, very clear I was extremely uncomfortable in bringing it up in the first place. And I said it loud enough the first time.

You said you "almost" whispered - perhaps when you "almost" whisper, the therapist really just cannot hear you. Or just tell him no when he asks you to repeat it. He really cannot make you do so.

And good job on the punctuation restraint.

Try expelling the voices - pretend to be Harry Potter (I am not being super silly here - sometimes this sort of thing can work) and picture yourself pointing your wand at the voices (bogarts) and shout "Riddikulus"

Thanks SD. As visualisation it was reasonably effective, as a distraction it was superb. I had those little voices popping like popcorn.

Mornign couch.

Looks like I missed the talk about MnMs, but I do have something to add. My last year of college(super Senior), I had a Freshman roommate who "loved" MnMs. For her birthday, I played a mean joke on her. I used glad press and seal to individually wrap each MnM and put it back in the bag, then real seal the bag. She couldn't just take handuls of MnMs out if she wanted to eat them. She had to unwrap eaah one. I was so "evil."

I have to go to my inservice day 5 of 6 tomorrow and I know I am going to be bored to death because I already finished all my work for the class and have a hard copy (what we were asked to turn in on the last day) and I made a digital copy (scanned each page, then merged the files together) and aready submitted it using Google Apps (in case she wanted a head start grading). Here's to 2 more days (one this week, one next week) of super boredom. Oh well.

I need to get serious about cleaning. I am still slacking off on getting it done. I just can't get motivated to do it.

Hankster, thanks for saying you enjoy my posts. It's good to know that someone actually reads them.

Well, I'll pop in and out today.

I hope everyone has a decent day.

Now that I have FINALLY gotten the last of the dirt out from underneath my fingernails, I think it is time to go play in the garden again. This time I am ready with gloves though. I swear it took a couple days of scrubbing to get my hands looking clean again.

Looked online last night at job listing sites...so overwhelming. I wish I knew what I wanted to be do when I grow up. It is quite difficult to come up with a completely new life plan now that I am in my 40s.

Hey all...
I picked up sun butter at Trader Joe's. Way better than m&m's.
My niece just picked up her daughter, and the house is quiet for the first time in days. I already miss the giggling. The little thing was so well behaved at church. She amazes me.

I have a pizza in the oven...
SD: care to share your British Muffin recipe?

I have to head out to a bbq later on, a friend's daughter is graduating.

MKAC - I had similar difficulties with my d's school. Seemed like they weren't willing to make ANY considerations for my daughter when she was ill, yet special needs students had it all. I was pissed...and I fought for her, and won. Good luck.
