(((Wiki)))
When I had to attend the funeral last week, I found that looking at the stained glass windows and the flowers was very helpful.

I've taken today off. I have worked seven days a week for the last month and a half - well, not a full day's work every day, but still - and I'm actually only employed 75%, so I'm not even feeling guilty.

Well, not very guilty.

In any case, I'm indulging in watching BBC drama series on Netflix. I just discovered one that's called Lark Rise to Candleford, which is just lovely. It's a weird title, I thought, but it turned out that Lark Rise is the name of a village and Candleford the name of the nearby town, and the series is about a young girl who moves from the village to the town to work in the post office. It's based on a novel series I'd never heard of before, either. It is rather lovely, so far: not deep, not upsetting (unlike the Forsyte Saga which is brilliant but also distressing) and really well-made, with some of my favourite actors.

Also there is tea. And cats.

So t made it very clear that she is not "kicking me out" and that I can come to therapy as long as I find it helpful and if I stop coming I can come back at any time... so why I am freaking out about the thought of eventually not having therapy? In all honesty we've met most of the goals we had set-up last year. But I still feel anxious...like if I leave I will try to tough it out instead of coming back to ask for help....GRRRRRR

(((granite))) Are you going to be angry with him if he doesn't?

Sconnie...most people get anxious at the thought of stopping, but I can honestly tell you, it really isn't the end of the world. When you do stop, you will be ready to. You aren't ready now, so don't stop yet.

I have to think about your kids they have no say in it. Only adults can decide what their childhood is going to be like. I wish you all well.

"I told you so" sucks - it always feels so spiteful and condescending when people say stuff like that. Like, it's more about being "right" rather than about delivering a helpful message.

It's hard to get your hopes up and feel disappointed or sad when things don't happen the way we hoped they would.

That looks incredible, wiki!! I now have the urge to do some crafting!

But dang it, I need to keep cleaning....LOL

Made some great progress with cleaning - the kitchen, dining room and living room are almost done. I can't believe it! I still have a lot to do, but it feels good to see results with the work. Once those rooms are done, I want to keep them that way - and then move on to one room at a time. Progress feels good.

Thanks. After I took the photo I realized it was crooked. (and I used a level!) So I adjusted that, now it's straight!

I think you did an awesome recreation of that - look at how much money you saved! And you can be proud of it in the process because you did it yourself. Go you!

LOL about the nude beach sign. I think you should put up about 10 of those in your son's room.....LOL

Just started scrubbing the kitchen floor. Not an easy thing to do with my physical issues. But I'm doing it - and am pleased with the progress. I have a steamer, but it doesn't do a good enough job on the hard spots. So, I'm tackling the hard spots and then will use the steamer. Can't wait to finish this! Getting off the computer would help, lol.

Over the weekend he put a Karma Pooptra book in the main bathroom. It's 100 positions to take a poop in. Joke's on him, because I like it and left it there.

I have to say, thunder and lightening are MUCH scarier when you live on a lake. Both dogs just flew up on my lap. Sadie is trying to put her head under the pillow. Time to get out their thundershirts.
