Healed, you too (with your daughter's bday).

I just got done with supper. A can of vegetable soup. And cheez-its. Not the best meal in the world, but I ate and that's all that counts.

Need to try to clean tomorrow, since I hae to work at the senior place on Sunday and watch C on Monday and go to my inservice (last day) on Tuesday (and T). Busy, busy, busy. Have to get the cleaning done tomorrow, or else I won't have time again until Wednesday. I just hate cleaning so much.

Still trying to figure out what to tell T on Tuesday. This will be one tough session as I opened quite a few cans of worms. Hopefully we can get through it all at least a little.
i dont think you need to have any decisions made by then but to be able to talk to your T about it. i does seem like you do want to see her more often.

Used my new blender to make a fruit smoothie. Papaya, nectarine, banana, strawberries, milk and protein powder. That's my dinner. I'm wiped out from shopping with my daughter. Ugh. Shopping is like torture generally, but this time was not horrible. Just exhausting.

We bought a used car today, FINALLY. So used car shopping in the a.m. and clothes shopping in the afternoon. Did I mention that I'm wiped out?

2. I don't know what you mean by "jinx" in this context. Have I brought you bad luck?

CE, jinx is an American expression people use when two people say the same thing at the same time.

Jinx, you owe me a coke is the standard response when two people do this.

Hi all. I'm new here, a bit shy, and a bit overwhelmed by all the buttons, forums, googaws, and rules. I guess I will say that I am unable to afford therapy, but am finding that reading the posts on this forum is helpful. Heck, I've been analyzed and picked apart from 1973 to 2013, so I probably have seen all my horrible stuff on the floor in front of me. I guess more than anything I am lonely inside of myself. And really, who needs to pay $125 for 50 minutes of rent-a-friend?

It is a bit stormy and ominous here in the dusk of New Mexico desert.

MKAC - Is your daughter coming to D.C. this weekend? The weather is supposed to be bad, but that will make it good for museums. That is of course if sight seeing is on the agenda. I hope it is, because D.C. is really awesome. I am glad that shopping wasn't as bad for you this time.

It is another music and wine night for me. Where are you Ike? I may have to start posting songs in your absence. My knee is still killing me, and I will be taking some pm pain reliever in a bit. Hopefully it is like my previous back pain, and is just a one time fluke. I have a double that I have to work tomorrow. It is good for me because of the money, but I am somewhat dreading it because of how I feel. I will be at work from about 10 in the morning until midnight, and I will return the next morning by about 8. I just need my body to be okay for it.

Yep, she is going to be in DC this weekend. There is very limited time for sightseeing, but I'm hoping they get to spend some time in the museums. We have been in DC before, but the other kids on the trip have never been.
Thanks for this!

Sounds like a rough weekend Trdle. Don't overdo the wine. It could make it worse.

And here's one of my favorites. Robert Zimmerman(who just turned 72 in the last week or so) at the Concert for Bangladesh.

Wiki - I am glad that you were able to enjoy the evening. You deserve a nice night. I am also envious of the upcoming concert. I love hearing about and seeing examples of good, loving relationships.

Ike - thank you for the link. That is a favorite song of mine. I used to have some bootleg cd's of R.E.M covering both CCR and Dillon. I love both the originals and what I remember of those cd's.
Thanks for this!

I have been tossing a handful of kale and spoonful of matcha in my smoothies recently along with the fruit. It doesn't really bother the taste and is supposed to be good for you.
