So, I am listening to a lot of not typical music for myself this evening. Regina Spektor, Passenger, Lana Del Rey, and Hugh Dillon. I want to post many songs, but this is the most benign:

Hi couch peeps.

Well... what a week. I won't post details here because some of it would be triggering. But t was at my friend's funeral tonight. I played the avoidance game as best I could.

Hope everyone is doing well... I am off to a wedding this weekend... and of course the hotel we are staying at doesn't have free Wi-fi. WTH.

Hi Sconnie... I just came home from my niece's wedding.... it was lots of fun. I hope you have a good time at the wedding you are attending this weekend. Are you attending this wedding with your man?

I was sorry to hear about your friend. Did you know in advance that your T would be there? or were you caught off guard?

ETA sorry here I'm asking for details after you said you weren't going to write details.

Hi RTS -
Glad you had a good time at your niece's wedding. My man has to work this weekend, so I am going with my cousin who is also friends with the bride.

I did not know my t was going to be there. I've never run into t outside of her office... first time for everything. We will probably discuss the funeral at my session this week anyway, so I guess it's not that bad. But I did high-tail it out of there at the end of the service...

Interesting Sconnie did you ever find out how your T knew your friend? Did you make eye contact? Or communicate in anyway?

I would have found it difficult to. and a funeral is not a place I would want to see T..since I would be upset anyway.

Good morning, granite. How are you? Sorry you are up so early (how early is it?)
It's just after 12 noon here. H left about half an hour ago for a party. I think I'm going to sit out on the terrace and work for a bit, if I can find a shady spot. I'm still hurting but it's a little more manageable today.

Very cool picture - it's got to be a movie screen of some sort, I think. Float-in cinema?

Hey Hopeful Camel - welcome! This thread moves so fast, posts get overlooked sometimes. I'm glad you find some of the posts helpful. The trick is to take the helpful ones to heart and ignore the posts that just don't help at all. (I guess we all post some helpful and some not-so-helpful stuff...)

Sweden is sunny and very lovely. It's the best time of year right now, in my opinion.

One more week for me, then no more students until the end of August. Time to get some research done, maybe.

I do drink wine, though I don't think I want to drink quite this early in the day. I definitely plan to have some wine with my dinner tonight.
