Steps to a new life
1. Chore chart with consequences for both children and adults
2. Sign up sheet for TV...everyone is linited to 1/2 hour from 7pm to 9pm. Once school starts...1/2 hr of TV for whole family..agreed upon show
3. Sign out sheet for your electronics... Based on chores/homework being completed. Homework requiring computer will be completed at dining room table. Consequence...i change password on router and not give it out

My H will throw a fit... He watches sports nonstop which distract boys from getting their stuff done. He can go to local sports bar if he needs to watch something.

Wow...that's so...extreme! I couldn't follow those rules!

We used to take our kids keyboards at night. They could have them from the time homework and chores were completed until 10 pm. Son purchased a new keyboard and his it in the closet and used it after hours! I didn't catch him until over a year later. Oh well. We didn't have laptops or wireless Internet back then. No smart phones either. The good old days!

Sounds like a plan.

Afternoon couch.

First day went well, except I had to ride the bus in the morning. The stupid bus compound said there were only 2 buses with aides when there was really 3, so the school secretary caught me as I came in and told me I had to ride.

When we finally got to school, I went to the guidance counselor over me and told her, she said she would get one of the other aides to ride since she knew I had other obligations in the morning most days. Thank goodness...I do not want to be on a bus this year.

We live in a very small house... My living room and dinng room is 10X12 then the kitchen is bigger and a laundry room and a 3/4 bathroom and that is all the space of the first floor. Its an open floor plan with a stair case in the middle of the house. You can hear everything that goes on everywhere... there is no study or family room... so we need to be respectful of each others needs. Its very hard to get a 10 year old to do homework when dad is watching ESPN and baseball and basketball... and its hard for my 17 year old to get work done when he's being IMd and texted ...etc..etc...etc...

My H takes out trash and mows the lawn... everything else is on me to do so that is ending. ... I can't wait to sit in my living room and read a book without the noice of senseless TV sometimes its on and no one is watching it... they are all on their electronics... Really my mind needs quiet sometimes. If I just spend time in my bedroom my H gives me a hard time but I've told him there isnt room for me in my house... that its a frat house.

Well I pay the mortgage so I'm changing things.

I knew one meaning was daily but had to google to find it could also mean mundane. Thanks for the word of the day, Wiki.

Feeling lost and scared. Perhaps because there is no crisis right now!

Hello, Anybody there? This is the longest I've suffered with post-therapy blues/lethargy. It's like i've been re-infected by a therapy virus.

I don't think my T is really interested anymore. he seems kind of distant, maybe because it was 5 1/2 weeks between sessions. idk

Hi BPA. I'm here, hanging out. Is the stomach bug gone? Sorry T seems withdrawn.

It's probably just me, as T points out he has never yelled at any clients nor got angry with them whenever i've accused him of these things.

Buddy Guy is a legend. I posted his induction to the R&R HOF. He was inducted by B B King and Eric Clapton. Not too shabby. You should listen to EC"s comments, if you've a mind to, it may put him in somewhat of an historical context.

I think so Lola. Plus I can't handle all the inconsistencies with appointment times and dates. I realise he is probably just sorting out his practice and this takes time, but a bit of explanation wouldn't go astray.
