Hi-

I apologize in advance for bringing up my Neuro appt...But I just took 2 mg of Ativan that I had hoarded as I am freaking out over this appt. I also have a stomache ache, and am starting to get a headache.

So I thought, if I feel this way tomorrow, I will cancel and reschedule. I have T on Thursday, and make the entire session about this. I wonder what T will say? Perhaps then she will see how terrified & anxious I become. Right now I feel paralyzed, my hands are shaking (my blood sugar is fine, I ate a banana 30 minutes ago), my legs are stiffening up...it is too much for me.

What should I say to T? Let's face it, the vision board did nothing to help this.

Thanks in advance and for all of the support.

Have you tried doing any breathing exercises? If you do a search - some will come up and they really can help.
Some therapists, from what I have seen, can help with this sort of thing and some cannot. Yours does not seem useful to you. Have you tried any other therapists?

Thanks,

On my other post about this,a member gave me a list of things to practice such as breathing & counting.

I vaccumed to decrease the anxiety, I tried to scale the dogs teeth, but when i sat back down, i could not watch TV. so I came back on here, and saw how my hands were shaking, how paralyzed I feel.

The T before this one knew me well and knew I could not function, but she did not give me any pointers in functioing. This T is from the county...so I will probably be cut off or switch. She would be good for me in about a year, or before my big psycotic break...but not now.
