Gawd I am in shock and incredibly sad.........

I was about to go to bed and caught the late news on TV to see my cousins face alongside a news article. He has been missing for over a year now, and not so long ago the police appealed for information. It seems they have found a body that is likely his, not sure at this stage if it is homicide, and no official ID. But.........

This is soooo sad, if its him he has been there alone for over a year........ how am I to sleep with that thought in my head?

I wish I had not seen this tonight.......

(((Jane))) So sorry about your cousin. That is quite horrid.

Another day, Another dollar less.
I saw a pic on FB that said

"have you ever looked at someone and knew the wheel was turning but the hamster was dead?"
That made me lol for some dark reason.

Granite...I like Scissors Ninja or Running With Scissors...ha ha ha.

Ready...glad it went well with xt.

AARGH!!!! Mornings with a 12 year old girl are horrendous!!!!

I totally lost it - yelling at her because she kept asking me for things that she very well could look for herself. PURE LAZINESS.

I CAN'T DO EVERYTHING MYSELF!?!?!?!!!!

She's getting a ride to school with my neighbor and literally walked out of the house while I was in the midst of ranting. Sure, ranting is not the most productive way to communicate - but DAMN. I am so sick of this s h i t.

I live in a s h i t hole....I started to get stuff together for a yard sale, but then these frikkin kitties came along. My cat went to the vet yesterday because I now need to have him treated for fleas....he ended up crapping all over the vet and techs while screaming in horror when they were trying to do blood work. Well, that crap turned out to be ALL over him. They said if I had trouble cleaning him, I could bring him back - they would sedate him and clean him for me. Umm, no, don't sedate my cat please.

So, I had to deal with grumpy cat with poop all over him - watery disgusting poop - fighting me every step of the way. And then a half hour later, got a call from the vet - my cat has worms. DAMMIT. Most likely from the kittens who must also have worms. Coccidia, nonetheless, so my local pet store doesn't have an over-the-counter med for it. DAMMIT-TO-HELL. Another bill to pay for my cat getting the prescription - and the kittens are SOL unless I take them to the vet or the shelter.

It may very well be their time to go. I just can't do this anymore.

(((MUE)))

Sounds like sheer hell. Please do what's best for you and your d at this point. As long as it's a no-kill shelter, the kittens will be fine and taken care of. You are taking on way more then you need to. Please be kind to yourself.

I've been taking note of times that I have a weird reaction ...meaning a physical reaction to something ....this situation didnt involve me... I was watching it happen..

At work they were shooting video of some employees talking about diversity...for a company promo thing.... The people in the video are just accountants and such not actors... So the guy recording the video was talking to the person about the questions they would be responding to etc...but when he got ready to shoot...he started adjusting her hair...and touching her face while he did it... It didnt look logicallly like anything other than what a stylist would do but i got all wigged out... To thhe point i thought i was going to vomit and it wasnt even me it was happening to

Thanks, couch peeps, for putting up with my venting....

I am more calm now. Finished my assignment and was around the corner from the no-kill shelter. I talked to them about fostering, etc. I am to bring the kittens in later today to get evaluated. If accepted, they will treat the fleas and the worms (thank goodness, what a relief) and I will keep them until they reach 2 lbs. if they have space for them. If not, I'll keep them a little longer. I told them about the umbilical hernia - they said it's no problem, that will get fixed when the kitty is neutered.

That takes the worry of the medical issues off my plate, hopefully. Whew.

And I drafted a text to my niece updating her on the kittens, telling her that I've spent over $300 on them in the last couple weeks - and she said she was going to help, so I am expecting that she will pay half. It's the least she could do, right? Especially considering she said she would help out with them, including financially, and she hasn't done SQUAT to help me....even though she's been here 3 times in the last 2 weeks.

Thanks, RTS, about bringing up my T session. We didn't do anything productive in session other than talk about the huge assignment that I might take on. I told T that I had intended to work - and T said that he wasn't even able to focus on work after I told him what the assignment was. It was pretty low key. Perhaps the stress of the decision making of that assignment is adding to my craziness. I sent my manager an email saying that I AM interested but want some more information first before making a final decision. She hasn't responded yet. *sigh*

Oh...and I called my favorite aunt who I haven't talked to in many months....and we are having lunch together today. She's been going through a rough time, so it'd be good for her to have a chance to get out. And tomorrow night, I'm getting together with several friends while my mom keeps my daughter overnight. Self care. Dammit. LOL.

NO TASTING!!! (Yeah, right!) I'm going to the movies tonight - remind me not to buy candy!

ETA: Gettin' stuff done today! Made quinoa for breakfast (until daylight changes back, I'm on California time), haven't tried it yet tho; and I finally replugged in the plug to plug in my stupid cpap machine. T will be so pleased. I put a heating pad on my back - I finally figured out that loading my backpack too heavy is aggravating a weightlifting injury from 2010. But the heating pad is really helping today.

We used to make it at work in the microwave. We mixed two kinds of popcorn, it was some weird recipe! It was fun.

I microwaved some kale, chard, and spinach mix and put that and a dab of oyster sauce over my quinoa. Do I look any healthier?? Is there spinach in my teeth?
Thanks for this!

Just watched Fat Sick and Nearly Dead again.
Next week I am barricading myself in the house for 5 days and doing a full on juice fast. I want to do 10 days....juice and water, absolutely nothing else. And if I am ok, I will push 30 days. I hope to do 60. I need to reboot my life.

if interested...you can see the flick here: Fat Sick and Nearly Dead | a Joe Cross Film
