I think he can only truly make you go if he feels you are a true threat to yourself or others, its not something they do lightly. If you do go I assume they will suggest meds as well? What will you tell them? Also will you be able to see your T while in there? When I went inpatient last time they wouldn't let my T in to see me as he didn't have some sort of a reciprocation agreement with them or something.

I am not sure- I really don't know how that all works. I know T would only do it if he was thought I was really at risk.. but he reminds me that he will do it, I think really just to show me that I have to do SOMETHING to get better.

Granite, sounds like the word you are trying to avoid is being perceived as needy. Having needs. It sounds horrible. I used to hate when my t would say that about me. I would be all no no no no la la la la. i think thats why i looked for a t where the creep factor was low, so my neediness didnt creep me out too much. Cuz i think we were raised to feel it was gross. Maybe thats why i get the reaction here i do sometimes - i kinda wear that neediness on my sleeve. It is icky. Its not clean, its not perfect. You wrote a good post, very explanatory.

Healed, good luck with T tomorrow.

RTS, that sucks about YT. After how much you liked working with him, you have to find even another T now. That has to be stressful. Maybe YT knows of someone who is like him that he could recommend.

CC, I hope you don't go crazy being iced in. Hopefully, you will be able to get outside the house soon.

Hank, yes, I understand you. I so got the pool and sheep comment. It made sense in context of your post. I am still trying to see the "brilliance" in my last few posts that you mentioned. I just don't see it. Oh well.

Well, I am off to bed everyone. Have to be up at 6am tomorrow morning. It's already 10pm, so by the time I fall asleep, I will get less than 8 hours. Hopefully, I will not be moody in the morning.

I hope everyone has a good night/afternoon/morning/whatever word describes the time of day it is where you live.

That's the magic of transference!

When I talked to Madame T about my relationship with her, I was "really" talking about my relationship with my mother.

Or so the theory goes.

God I am cranky. I hate reading text-speak (I don't know what it is really called) and weirdo stories that are allegedly supposed to be cute or funny I am finding creepy or creepier.
And my reading glasses are really grungy even though I clean them off about a hundred times a day.

You kids get off my lawn.

All the noise noise noise noise.

Is there some sort of vowel shortage? Do they cost more? Why don't people like them anymore? I am going on a save the vowels campaign. Which I can only hope is more successful than my keep the definite and indefinite articles separate crusade. And my use definite articles movement.

I don't text much - usually with just a couple of friends. I use full sentences. I also just started texting really in the last couple of years. A friend had to show me how to respond to my first text just about two years ago.
