Not sure what you mean here, but I'm guessing a hug is in order.

Well, woke up on my own and can't get back to sleep. It's not even 6am yet.

Oh well...I guess I will just roam the internet until I have to leave to meet family.

Just logging in really briefly to send virtual hugs, handshakes, and herring (pickled) to all my couch friends as applicable. I owe a couple of people messages and I will get back to you, I promise.

Christmas Eve was really good. And so is today. I'm reading, listening to music, and watching the cats bask in the warmt in front of the fireplace. H and I are going to play a board game in a few minutes. And then we'll listen to Dickens' A Christmas Carol, which is an annual tradition in the Apt/Mast household.

I wish you all a calm and happy day. Or a day full of excitement and joy, if that's more your thing.

The offering of pickled herring brought a big smile to my face. When I was younger I would never try it when my Norwegian grandfather would offer it to me. He would tell me that I had to like it if I was Norwegian. I finally tried it about 10 years ago, and loved it. Granddad was right.

Merry Christmas to all. I am thinking of going to a movie later but I don't know what to see. Anchorman, Saving Mr. Banks, or maybe Her?

Fell back asleep after my last post and just woke up about 30 minutes ago.

Had a disturbing dream about my appointment on Monday. Not nothing SA related, just additional (not the norm) procedures related due to things the ob-gyn saw. I don't even know if what I dreamed are actual procedures or if my mind is just making things up. I am more nervous now than before. I keep telling myself...I will not cancel, I will not cancel. 5 days till I can show myself it was all okay and I was worried for nothing.

Got a couple of good gifts for Christmas- Wizzard of Oz 75th Anniversary deluxe box set, Season 4 of Glee on Blu-Ray, Glee sings The Beatles CD, along with some clothes.

Now listening to the DJ on the radio with his mom (I think this is my 16the consecutive year listening to them on Christmas).

Well, went to my grandma's to meet my mom and brother before the 3 of them go to my cousin's in a different county. Of course as usual, my mom was 25 minutes late, so I was left staring at my grandma trying to make conversation (I am not much of a socializer, even with family) in her hot house (she keeps her house at 82 degrees) sweating profusely.

While I was waiting for my mom to get there, my grandma tells me all she wanted for Christmas was a family picture (all 3 of my cousins are in town...2 are normally in Alaska) and now that I was not going with them, she wasn't going to get that. I just said sorry, I have my dad's side of the family too, if I went with you guys I wouldn't be able to see my dad at all today. She tells me she really wants me to go, so she can get a full family picture. I didn't let her guilt trip me though. I just ignored it. My mom and brother finally got there, we exchanged gifts and I headed out. I can only take so much crap like that.

Now to chill for an hour and 15 minutes before I have to leave to go to my dad's for dinner. I sure hope we are not having "experimental" food today. I want a normal Christmas dinner. I will probably fly out of there pretty shortly after I eat too, I just don't want to give them time to ask about my meds and crap...not something I want to deal with today.

I had a nice Christmas morning with my H and boys. After all the unwrapping and presents...my H and I went and took a nap. I hadnt planned on taking a 3 hour nap.

I still have Christmas dinner with my family. There are parts of my family that will be very hard to see and then there are parts I'm so excited to see so it should even out... atleast that is what I'm hoping!
