I thought people were feeling uncomfortable - i know i was - so i just tried to start the couch back up as open-mindedly as i could.

maybe it was just quiet because its a holiday week for some people.

Maybe its just the feeling of theres an elephant or two or three or four or five...! in the room? And they usually have my footprint nearby...

Hmm I haven't seen any hankster-shaped footprints around. But I definitely feel smushed between a couple elephants.

I don't know, I hate feeling this uneasy though. Hanging around PC used to feel comforting.

Wikid - sorry to hear about the pain.
I am learning more about the limits of western medicine and its inability or unwillingness to do more about pain management than I really wanted to know.

Stopdog, sending hug type thoughts your way, but don't worry, they won't actually touch you. I had good luck with acupuncture for pain control, and my daughter is having great results using hypnosis.

Ally, unfortunately, I know the bullying thing does happen, but not to a large extent. When I blocked someone, their messages showed up as PM's, but with a notation the sender was blocked. But, that was for the messages that were already IN my inbox. If they sent messages after that, they didn't show up. I have also noted that what I consider bullying is not what other people consider bullying. That became even more obvious to me when I watched conflicts unfold that had nothing to do with me. Sometimes people complain about bullying when, viewing the situation from a bystander's perspective, I thought they were in fact the bullies. Not saying that this is your case, just noting that sometimes it's all about your perspective.

Sd: Western Medicine has NOTHING. My herbalist has made me a new Pain Tincture with the JD, Burdock, Turmeric, Rosemary, Devil's Claw, Feverfew and Ginger. It really helps if I take it with my Valerian/Kava Kava mix, but I just sleep for hours. When I want to stay awake I just take the first. Helps way more than any pain meds they've given me. I did get some hash oil. That really helps the pain and the nausea more than anything else. I highly recommend it for your friend.

Acupuncture has helped me. Not so much my loved one at this point - it is her pain I want them to eradicate.

Hello couch, like a few other people on here I am not having a real good week either (its times like these when I really wish that my Therapist checked her email all the time and could see a message that I might send her).

Stopdog, my dad said at the end that the only thing that really helped his pain was marijuana. The morphine didn't help him much, he said.

Yea MKAC...I can totally see that. My kids were really against me using it at all, but now that they know I am not smoking it and acting all "Cheech and Chong" they are thankful for it. I am doing the Simpson Oil thing. It helps with the pain in my foot too, and I am much more alert then with the Demerol.

I am emotionally and physically drained , I have never felt so beat down as I do now. This move is proving to be so difficult. I'm crying in a seven eleven parking lot. 5 hr drive ahead of me. I just needed to vent, I know many of you are having real problems and I'm sorry. Wiki pass the weed or oil or whatever it is...
