It's not enough to organise. You have to purge.

Granite, I am so sorry. You have lots of people who care about you. Big hugs. You GET to be angry. At lot of things have happened to you that you have a right to be angry about.

CE, I did get rid of a bunch of bathroom stuff as well. There are just so many things we actually need, but have no place to put.

There's a joke about that.

Q: How can you tell how many women are living in a house?
A: Count the razors in the shower and divide by four.

Probably not. The abuse you suffered is as systematic and senseless as any I've ever heard.

Note to self: 1) do NOT stand up on the bed to stop the ceiling fan from clicking after the second whiskey.
2) do not disable autocorrect on the phone. It fricking rocks
3) no emailing T. Nothing you have to say tonight is anything you will be happy to have told him come tomorrow.

Thank you for these pearls of wisdom.

Sorry to hear so many couchies had a rough week. Hope this week is much improved for all. I'm still getting over a sinus infection, so have been lying low and sleeping a lot. Didn't get to see T last week because of illness, so hopefully I'll feel well enough to drive tomorrow.

Hugs, positive thoughts, well wishes, and any other good things anyone needs. Appreciate all of you!

Explanation? (I'm not playing stupid here, of course I know that some women shave some body hair. I honestly don't understand the divide by four part.)

I've just had enough - I hate my new job - I feel so out of place here and no-one likes me or undestands why I have been brought in. I am angry with my oldest friend because she has abandoned me and it makes me feel worthless - she introduced me to my T - who also doesn't support me (more useless feelings). My H treats me like ***** and so do my kids. I am just a waste of space. I wish I had the courage to run away from it all. Or at least make some changes. But I am pathetic. I hate feeling this way - I am pushing people away because I am no longer positive. I cant keep wearing the mask. I have worn the mask for so long but I want to be real now. I think I am going to do something to show everyone how I am really feeling. But nobody cares anyway! They just think I am making a fuss over nothing and should be grateful for what I have. I am so confused.

Yes, that's the part I don't get. Are there four areas of the body that women shave? And why would they use different razors? I really don't understand.
Thanks for this!

I didnt get the joke at first either. By in my interpretation it means.... That as a "typically wasteful" american (which trust me not every american is) a lot of disposable (some you can replace the blade)razors are marketed to women...also lots of different kinds and shapes...and colors...etc...that women buy different ones and never take out old ones?

Of course I dont hold myself out to be the most feminine person or really girlie... But once i find the razor I like... I have one razor in the shower.

Someone might need to explain the joke to me too?

My d always leaves her used razors in the shower...some of the cheaper disposables are only good for one leg shave, and she forgets to toss them. The newer disposables last much longer though. I get the joke because when my oldest still lived home, (in the 90's) sometimes there would be 4 or 5 razors in the shower cup. Again, each one only good for one shave, so she'd grab a new one each morning to shower with.

Personally, I don't shave every day. I have very fine blonde hair on my legs, so maybe once every couple of weeks is good for me. My d's have thick dark hair, so they shave every day.

Off to Boston today. I have to stop at the library and reserve some passes to the Museum of Science for Saturday too. My son and I have a birthday this weekend and we've decided to spend it there. Looking forward to it.
(I am going to be 7 squared)

This is really bugging me. I went to a bridal shower yesterday, and they did this sort of Mad Libs game. (Mad Libs - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia) One person asks the other for parts of speech and fills in the story with them. It can be quite funny, because the person giving the parts of speech doesn't know the jest of the story.

I was parred with a women whom I know partially, and I was asking her "give me a noun" "give me an adjective" "give me a verb". This woman was a bit older than I and has two very bright d's who received college scholarships to prestigious schools She kept responding with "what's a noun?" "what's a verb?" Blew me away how an adult could not know these things. I know these days they don't teach kids to diagram sentences anymore, but how can anyone not know this?

Is it just me? Do you all know these things?

Happy Birthday, Wikid!

In reference to your question, I was English major, so yes, I know the parts of speech. My MIL was an English teacher, so my H knows the parts of speech. Our kids both know the parts of speech.
Thanks for this!

morning all. I think I would have a problem figuring out some of it wiki but I know what a noun is and a verb and some others but I would have to think about it.
