Good to hear that you had a good time there, I remember that I went to an all day music festival a few weeks ago and I had a great time there.

This is our big long weekend festival. My tent nearly blew over, I freaked out and ran away when the guy next to me accidently touched my arm, my social anxiety nearly killed me, but the music was great.
I also discovered over the weekend that my eldest daughter has a boyfriend, I just hope she didn't do anything with him, as she claimed she was sleeping in a girlfriends tent. She's only 14.

There was a great Persian group, I love Middle Eastern and Indian music, we need more of it.
Thanks for this!

The couch was on page 2! This is unacceptable.

Tam, thanks for remembering my appointment is today. Feeling kind of sickish to my stomach. Luckily, I have to deal with some horse stuff this morning, so I can get my mind off it for a while. I know basically what I want to go over. No idea if this guy does the 45 minute thing or if I would even have time to go over what I'd like even in 50 minutes. Now that I say that, I will probably sit there and stare at him in silence for half the time.

I've done multi-day music festivals as well, I have found that it is better to rent an RV and stay in that during the festival (in particular if it is several hours away or more).

reasons why are too petty and complicated to really explain, and it is probably an overreaction, but I am sort of quivering with rage and embarrassment and am going to throw a total shitfit if my demands are not met.

Second to last session before T's summer break is tomorrow morning. The last one is on Thursday. I don't know how much I'll be online before then, so I'll wish everybody an enjoyable NH summer / SH winter. I might look in from time to time.

It was interesting. Thanks for asking. I'm not sure how honest you want me to be but yeah, I found it interesting but scary. The first two weeks of the research programme are introduction weeks with lectures (mostly people talking about their research, what it's like to be a PhD student, safety in the lab, different methods used in the lab, how to read scientific articles etc). Today we heard a lot about what it's like to be a PhD student and stuff like that. It was interesting but scary since I started to worry about what to do if I, during the summer, figure out I really don't like working in a research lab. I mean, my plan is to do medical research in the future. What if I figure out I don't like doing research?

Meeting new people was scary too. But overall I think it was a pretty good day. Got lectures from 9am to 3pm tomorrow. I think the theme for tomorrow is animal experimentation/research/testing and ethics etc.

Or anyone else with no one on their ignore list?
Thanks for this!
