I'm similar to you, I can read people with little information. My T, although she hasn't told me this, is clearly a workaholic and I can tell she is VERY highly professional and passionate about psychology...she bites her nails and pens, so I'm guessing that she's quite stressed out or has a bit of anxiety/nervous issues. I think she has a bit of a temper, she says she plays sports to release her anger so obviously there's a bit built up there, and also I've seen her get frustrated with me quite easily. I am friends with one of her colleagues who says that she is very particular and super organized, and likes things to be done otherwise she kicks up a fuss. Very interesting for me to hear!
Thanks for this!

Yes, I was thinking an outside T consultation. I guess I would be honest about your pattern then, but I don't see why you'd leave the room. My only concern is that she seems to have very loose boundaries, and there's a big part of you that enjoys that, but not always for the healthiest reasons. Transference work is intense and can be destabilizing; it requires both a skilled and consistent and contained T to handle it properly.
Thanks for this!

Well I don't think an outside consult is going to be possible. My back's against the wall now, and there's nothing to do but go through with it all. I'm just going to have to go, and try and he as honest as possible. As for leaving the room I thought that it might help me to keep my head on straight, and remind me what I'm doing and where I am. Thank you for all of your support in this thread, I really appreciate your perspective and insight
