All are welcomed on the couch. This thread operates like a general chat. We talk about everything!

Please don't take it personal if your post goes unnoticed. Just yell louder if you want some help!!!

Don't contact T while under the influence of mind altering substances as per StopDog. Some of us learned the hard way that it usually doesn't end well.

I was lazy and copied RTs intro.

Now post already
Thanks for this!

Thanks RTS The leases here are all pretty standard and all you have to do go in and sign them. Its just that I need a whole houseful of stuff as all I own is a mattress, a bar fridge and a lamp But apparently Red Cross can fix me up, i hope.

BiP... Do people have yard sales there? Sometimes you can find nice things at them or at second hand stores...

WE call them garage sales and they'd be good for the smaller things as I only have a 3 dr hatchback and don't know of anyone with a trailer. I'm just nervous about having stuff again, I don't know why. I think maybe its a sign of being responsible and I'll have to grow up

Thanks Art, Its looks a cozy room. I grew up with open fires in my grandmothers house until one of my aunts said it was dangerous and replaced it with a gas heater and my grandmother nearly gassed herself. This aunt was particularly meddlesome.

I had no idea the old couch was at an end until this one popped up.

Omg, laundry is so neverending. I have been doing handwashing too, which is so tedious.
Enjoy your monsoon!

Anyone mind if I find a spot? The couch looks so... remote, in a cozy lodge, like an escape. Today I had a very long and challenging day, then got home to find out my husband was thinking about killing himself. I need a quiet spell on a couch away from home for a bit now that I've worked through that with him.

Hi Leah, hugs to you...I hope things have improved with your husband now. That sounds so stressful, to say the least.
