I like looking at cat pictures? LOL

I'm not a pet person in the least. I don't bond with animals but I have bonded with lots of humans who bond with animals so I spend a lot of time appreciating the cuteness of their animal pictures and not really caring or understanding the rest of it. The things we do for our human peoples

My son doesn't talk - though he can vocalize and he can be pretty loud! He has trouble gaining weight and he's far too small for his age and he's had more surgeries and other medical stuff than most people would have in three lifetimes.
He's also a small little bundle of Happy (and he loves back rubs). Everyone who spends any time around him loves him. I think even Stopdog might like him a bit...

So there I go comparing my kid to the furbabies... There's many reasons I'm in therapy...

I've seen the soon-to-be-ex abusing animals...

I'm glad I'm out. I'm never going back. If not for me, for my kids.

Interesting! And sheep is a whole nuther bucket of fish. it was a big deal like in The Big Valley too. The channels i'm getting now only show Maverick, which is really more of a trickster show than a true western, so my cowgirl education has been halted, unfortunately!

I was told today that a friend of mine had a baby this morning. I remembered not to say "Rather her than me", which is always my private reaction.
Thanks for this!

I was told I was an odd person because someone once asked me what a friend's baby looked like, and my response was that it looked like a small, red lizard, much like all newborns.
Thanks for this!

I'm actually not much of a baby person. I certainly love my kids and I would still like more, but those first few years are trying. I don't really get wistful and want them to be babies again. Each step towards independence feels like a relief! I look forward to them being adults. Sometimes. Sometimes my depression makes me wonder if my kids won't just all grow up to hate and despise me. *sigh*

Silent Meowing Frequently

If your cat has a habit of using silent meows often, it may be because she's a pretty smart and savvy little thing. Silent meows are so cute that they often make people putty in their felines "hands," and cats are well aware of that. When your precious pet really wants something from you, she probably won't hesitate to let out a really high-pitched sound."

This may be why my baby is doing this. I am putty is in his little paws.
Thanks for this!

Ranches had no fences so in effect land ownership was pretty loose.) Sodbusters threatened the existence of public land and the right to cross private land. Bottom line: cowboys could not exist in a world of fences.

Sheep are for shearing. You don't have to herd them thousands of miles to market. (They wunt survive the journey anyways, I'm figuring.). So why should a sheep rancher let other folks drive cattle across his land?

Sheep take the best land, fence it off, and leave the honest cowboy to starve.

Can tell you my guilty reaction to my eldest D. I feel so bad about it and I know I was depressed and all. But when I first saw her I thought she looked like E.T. O f course I didn't realise I had psychotic depression. I still feel really bad about 14 years on. Something else
to talk to T about.

I know little to nothing about farms or ranches - but I do love my Rodgers and Hammerstein.

(The hating monty python thing is a bit of a mystery - perhaps if you watched them all again with some popcorn it would help)

Went out to brunch a few months ago to a place that made popcorn in bacon fat and then dusted it in Cajun spice. Lawd it was good!

ETA: Benton's Bacon fat, to be exact!
