I was a kid in the late 80s / early 90s when big bad fat was the criminal macronutrient of the time, so all our popcorn was low-fat or air-popped or whatever. It was meh.
Thanks for this!

Spam! I had spam musubi recently, which was kinda like gigantic sushi made with spam. It was surprisingly good!

Oh wow...maybe I really am just weird about food.

I can't eat anything but light popcorn (otherwise it's too salty/buttery). I don't like bacon, spam, coffee, sushi, wine, pancakes, any kind of cake/cupcakes...and I loathe nutella. (There, I said it.) But I really enjoy reading about the pleasure some of you get from eating it!

Granite, I will share some of my light popcorn with you!

And I seriously want some sushi.

This is my punishment for going to happy hour yesterday and blowing my weekly eating out budget on pale ales and mozzarella sticks.

I am wondering if I somehow damaged his vocal cords when I was getting him to swallow.
I had a cat that never meowed out loud - he was my stealth cat - he made little purring noises, but never out and out meowed; he lived for almost 17 years believe it or not. I guess some cats are just quiet. The two I have now, meow a lot though.

When your precious pet really wants something from you, she probably won't hesitate to let out a really high-pitched sound."

This may be why my baby is doing this. I am putty is in his little paws.
MKAC...You are keeping this little guy, right? He sounds so sweet!

My best friend has a cat who he is a squeaker...neither of us have ever heard him meow. I have a flame point siamese who has meowed a few times (that I have heard)...otherwise he makes weird crying noises that sound like "hello" when he wants food. He sounds nothing like any siamese cats talking I have listened to on YouTube. My calico talks constantly, to the point of screeching when she is begging for food...it's pretty overly dramatic (but then she usually is).

I am SO annoyed at my h right now and expressed it straight up and now he is pouting!! Now that I no longer have my "good girl" filter, I guess I need to create a "dealing with crybaby hubby" filter. Ha.

The upside to this is that since I also have recently learned that his feelings are HIS problem, I am not crying because he is pouting and making things worse. I am really loving the new me, to tell ya'all the truth. Dam I'm getting so mentally healthy I might not need t anymore. I can even type THAT w/out crying. Wow.
Thanks for this!

"Criminal macronutrient". I love it. And it scores exactly one hit on Google. Yet it is neither a googlewhack nor a googlewhackblatt.

I'm kinda sorta at the tipping point with regards to understanding that I am not (other people are not) my (their) emotions. It hit me like a ton of bricks when I stumbled upon that, but I still find myself reverting back to my old way-of-being quite often. BUT, I have an awareness of what's going on now! I've never had that before. And as my T would say, other people can put on their big boy/big girl pants and deal with their own emotions - I don't need to make their emotions my problem.

Ha! I hope protein never becomes the bad guy! Up with prime rib!

And thank you for introducing me to the not-so-wide world of googlewhacks and googlewhackblatts! That's gonna be good fodder for me and my office-mates when we have downtime.
Thanks for this!

You know, I really hope I wasn't (I had just had an injection for my torn discs, so I think I was too grumpy to sing, thank god). My voice would crack his iPhone into a million pieces. I have a horrible voice, but I do sing in the car (because I assume it's safe and no one can hear me...pffft).

Ha! November Rain is all kinds of awesome!

Gluten is the new evil...unless something else has "out-eviled" it while I wasn't looking.

Yes, it totally is! Some radio station around here played a version once that cut out before the epic Slash solo at the end and .... I *flipped out*

Who cares about Axl's whiny woeful cliched romantic woes?? Slash rocking the %$(# out is what the song is all about!

Pretty much. Sometimes serious, sometimes not. Doesn't usually go too long without reverting to food.
