I seriously, can't be the only knew who hasn't cried in therapy after an extended amount of time in therapy? 2. Talking about people being better off without me.. We left the session with him asking me to check in with him tomorrow at some point so I can "contract" for my safety. Which I can deal with because he said he was feeling insecure about my promise to be safe between then and my next session with him.

Life kind of sucks right now.
Therapists believe that crying is a sign of mental health. Not everyone agrees.

We built a cloaking device in WWII to stop the Japanese invading. And now we can't turn it off.

What a shame! Probably too hot for them. We humans have better defense against heat than most mammals.

(Did I just write "we humans"? I've been stationed on this planet too long.)

I just had a thought, remember Clive James used to have show and just about everyweek he'd show the Japanese program Endurane. IfJapan took over NZ you'd have bungee jumping with the rope tied around your testicles....

morning peeps . strangest thing happened early this morning . I fell asleep on my couch and woke up at 2 am and went to bed. usually if I cant get back to sleep I lay in bed and have horrible thoughts and panic. for some reason the thoughts I was having were not panicking me at all .I mean they were not all happy thoughts but not horrible . like one was around how much crafting I have to get done before Monday night and how I am going to dinner with a bunch of people .normally this would send me into a huge panic .but it didn't I was thinking about how it was cool to have my friend over to craft with me and how I was so motivated to get what I needed done. I was thinking about a bunch of other stuff also but not panicking . when it struck me that I was not thinking so horribly I so wished I knew how I had switched my way of thinking for this time and were able to do it always. just wanted to say even though I could not get back to sleep it was still nice.

Granite, wow, that's cool. Hope it happens more often for you!

Myself, I woke up from a dream that I was eating Pumpkin Spice Ice Cream and the cold was hurting my teeth. So I was clenching my jaw so hard I had a cramp and my teeth really were hurting. Doh! THESE are the dreams I remember?????

thanks stressed. I don't usually dream at all. my T thinks that I just block them out of my memory because I don't want to remember them . not sure I agree with that . but pumpkin spice ice cream may just be worth the pain

I've been having the same conversation with T. She says just because I don't remember dreams doesn't mean I'm not dreaming. I say what's the difference? If I can't remember then it's like dissociative behavior even in my sleep! My unconscious brain work never transfers over to my conscious so how is it "helpful?"

Oh, and back to the important subject. Eady's Pumpkin Patch ice cream. Truly nomnomnom!

BPA!! So sad to hear about the mice. I was enjoying the updates. Hope the 4 are ok.

Hope the couch is enjoying the last half of the weekend. I've been in a dark mood so I decided to start up the SSRI's again. Ugh, they make me feel jittery and out-of-it. But I was worried about where my mood was going.

My morning started with a way too chipper text from t asking how I was doing today. I have decided that I am feeling crappy, hopeless, yucky , whatever... But even though I don't believe it yet.. I have a purpose.. And dammit I won't let the abuse win!

So, I will be back in the hunt for a new pcp to get back on meds and stay on them.

Hopefully the positivity on my end will hang on!!

The little mice are doing well, I think. But not being a mouse expert I couldn't say. For some reason they don't want the formula which you administer with a fine paint brush (its brand new) I soak some their pellets in water andd they seem to llike that. Apparently I can also soak dog kibble for them. They are over 2 weeks old so they can technically have solids.
Thanks for this!

An article on the effects of smoking on variuos psych drugs
Smoking and drug interactions - Australian Prescriber
Maybe this is why I have so much trouble with meds as i am an infrequent smoker.
