I am so sorry, SD...that sounds very difficult.
ETA: I hope she isn't in much pain with all she is going through.

I am making meatballs for the first time ever. I've cooked a lot of things, but never meatballs for some reason. Got off work a little early today so decided to give them a whirl.

I have a Christmas mystery to solve. I received a mysterious package in the mail today, the only return address on it is Crazy Horse Memorial in SD. I did not order anything from there, and don't know of anyone I know visiting there recently, I couldn't stand the suspense and opened it, it's a t-shirt that says "Never forget your dreams" and has a picture of a native american dream catcher on it. There's no note either!! I LOVE the shirt, now I have to try to figure out who sent it to me!!

I didn't have too much Christmas spirit at all until today, but I managed to find some this afternoon, and then got the package, and now I'm there. Happy Holidays, all and sending hugs to those who need/want them.

I don't know what happened with SD I can say I'm sorry even if I missed a lot.

I'm either coming down with a cold or having an asthma flare-up. Not that we are doing anything special for Christmas (I tolerated the in-laws tonight and DH, son and I stay home on Christmas) but I hate to be sick. It's been a long time since I had an asthma problem.

Hello to all, and Merry Christmas. My spine surgery went well, and I came home the day before Thanksgiving. I've had some improvement in my symptoms, but still can't use my right hand well enough to easily use the computer. Just wanted to check in and let everyone know I'm thinking of all my couchies, and wishing everyone well. Will try to catch up more after the first of the year. Love and hugs.

Tametc, thanks for keeping us posted. I'm glad your spine surgery went well. I'm sure the recovery can be lengthy and frustrating. Will be praying for continued recovery and symptom relief!

Hey everyone hope you all have a great (or at least better one then I did. I wasn't really ready for Christmas as they keep adjusting my meds so spent today virtually out of it. Ex=h seemed offended and I have no idea why. My daughter thinks I am not being in helpful in this senario. She wants me to hate him. Don't know why

I spent the evening watching corny movies with my kids and shaking- my version of being emotional One of these days I'm going to figure out what it is I'm actually feeling when I shake...

It turns out I had a very good Christmas after all. The family accepts that I have to go home early and that takes the pressure off. BIL behaved himself, too. And I reckon chocolate is better than Prozac. I must bear that in mind next winter.
