Wine - in front of me sits a Truro Vineyards Zinfandel. I like it, even though I am a chard fan (Kendall Jackson). I didn't like any of the mocato's I have tried. A good dry riesling is always yummy. I prefer oaky and dry to fruity/sweet.
One of my new fav's is Dreaming Tree Cabernet Sauvignon. That's actually Dave Matthew's vineyard...my nephew brought us a bottle over the holidays and I fell in love.

Anyone know of good tannin-less red wine? I've heard it does exist... Red wine gives me the headache from hell. I'm told it's the tannins...

I think I might be the only grown-up (ok, the ONLY is an exaggeration, but still) who doesn't like wine...of any kind. I don't like beer, either.

Yes, it was. That's probably why I liked it.
It was a tasting sample. My waiter took it away ...but I had one more swallow of wine left that I had planned to savor. It's gone. It's gone. ::trembling lower lip::

I love moscato - it's the only wine I can stand. I have tried MANY brands - and keep coming back to one of the least expensive, Arbor Mist Mango Strawberry Moscato. They also have a peach one, I like that one too but the mango strawberry is the best!!

You're not alone! I hate both. I will drink cheap, sweet champagne... Only if it's mixed with OJ.

I am not much of a wine drinker and I only like dark beer. I do not drink white wine at all.
I do like a good port.

I never got a taste for beer. Yuck!! I recall going to a fraternity party once in college when my roommate was a 'little sister' or whatever, and sneakily pouring my beer out the window every time somebody refilled it. Blech. I went to only one of those parties, wasn't for me.

So I seem to suddenly be over the respiratory nastiness that I've had for the past while. I have so much energy today as a result, it's crazy. T was probably entertaining thoughts of "is she manic?" while I was talking her ear off today. I did warn her in advance though that something she had said last week, triggered a LOT of good work for me since then, some really good realizations. And, I was so excited to tell her about the girl scout volunteering thing I'm training to do because I am so proud of myself for DOING it and not letting my negative voices talk me out of it. I told her I know logically that it's not a big deal, I mean people volunteer for stuff all the time, but it's a big deal to ME because I'm doing it and not letting those negative voices stop me like usually happens. That's a biggie. Example, my drumming group I talk about from time to time? It took me a full YEAR (literally!) of letting those negative voices talk me out of going to a meetup before I finally screwed up the courage to go and meet new people with similar interests. And I am sooo grateful to t for helping me get to a place where I felt comfortable going and introducing myself! I can't imagine NOT being a part of this group now.

Okay I need to wind myself down now and try to get some sleep. It's just exciting, y'know, seeing real life evidence that therapy is working, and as a result getting back into an activity that I used to LOVE (girl scouts). And as t said today, after I shared some other stuff I'd been working on, that it sounds like I have at last truly found my center, and that's exciting too.

Sweet dreams all (on my half of the world) and good day to those on the other side!

Hmmm. I don't think that would be my drink of choice, but to each her own

I don't like fruity drinks in general. I am very fond of beer. There are so very many varieties that are so very different that it always surprises me a little when people say they don't like beer... there are many beers I don't like either, of course.

I am not a fan of lagers. American Budweiser is not something I am physically able to drink. I'm not familiar with Coors but I googled for it now - I have had their Blue Moon wheat beer, which was okay but not my favourite. I really like wheat beer otherwise, especially in summer.

I suspect frat parties would serve pretty undrinkable beer.

And yay artemis! It really is exciting when you see signs of therapy having worked.

Thank you. You have no idea how much I appreciate this. And I'm really grateful that I've met this T - remember how you all cheered me on back when I was going to ask if he could take me on as a therapy patient?

I like Zinfandel wines. I almost always prefer red wine to white (partly because in the past my stomach has sometimes reacted badly to white wine).

Yay Art! That's great!!

Found out the next Lego project I had my sights on is now retired. Sigh. Now I need another, but nothing speaks to me.

Bad dream.

Granite - yay for the son being "home"! So very happy for you.

Beer - just yuck. I have tried so many kinds. My son always comes up with a new one, "Mom, you'll like this beer, honest" so I try it and "ICK! It tastes like beer". lol

My H is a wine guy, so he's always bringing in a new wine to taste. They just changed the laws here in MA so now he can get it mailed to him. So many very heavy boxes arriving on my door step. He doesn't buy expensive stuff, but never cheaper stuff either.

Today - bringing mom grocery shopping (ugh) work (yay) concert tonight (woot)
