I can't even draw a stick figure... I'm amazed at anyone that can even talk 'shading/angles' etc

Don't feel bad, it's the one thing I am really good at, do professionally, and have been essentially training for since I was 5.

Practice is 99% of talent.

There was a lady who was posting for some time with a dramatic story about going through cancer and having a traumatic background. She may or may not have been a fictional creation. She always wrote in a "see-the-good-in-everything" kind of way. Someone says they visited her, another person sent her a care package. However, another pc member thought she was a journalist or someone writing a book.

Who knows. PC has been so troll free it is easy to forget that people still lie.
Thanks for this!

Yes, I agree with practice being 99%! Drawing I would need 1,000% of practice lol. I love art and having it around the house - it amazes me that people can do that!

Something similar happened in the survivors of abuse forum. Keyword rubenrawr if interested. PC may actually be a harder place to lie, due to the intuitive nature of so many survivors. My BS meter doesnt go off very often here, but i certainly pay attention when it does.

Me too! There a lot of sick people in the world, though.I never thought it was made up until now, though. I assumed she passed away but no one wanted to say. I feel taken advantage of but still hoping it wasn't totally made up. I just want to know! I hate not knowing about things.

I'm exhausted and heading for dreamland. I now have an office-esque area in my walk-in closet. Involved moving furniture and demolition and ingenuity and paring down the wardrobes of two people. I used the desk tonight for homework and it's okay. I have a 4th bedroom that is for storage now, will probably turn into home-office someday. For now I'm content.

Have a great night!

Although I care about people having their emotions manipulated- people lying on PC doesn't bother me as much as the possibility that we/I could have been used as a study by some journalist or psych student.

Yet, I put my information out there.

Anything is possible on the internet.

Just after 12 here. I'm finishing off my little box of wine. I'm all mellowed out. Sleepy but enjoying the alone time too much to go to bed.
