I think when you are somebody who normally show up for sessions, and its out of the norm not to come, I don't see why it wouldn't be out of the question for a t to call.

No. I just don't have much to say. I'm trying to calm myself enough to sleep. I'm so tired, but I can't sleep.

That truly is a sucky feeling.. What is going on that has you so worked up?

Mine called me last week because I wasn't on her appt book in my normal time, she was worried something happened in her system and I could have my time if I needed. She forgot I had something come up that day and had to switch my times around. I quite liked that she did that.

The therapist has called me before when she forgot I told her I was not coming.

T and I were talking about some emotions I was feeling earlier in the week.. And he said, well it sounds to me that was sadness you were experiencing. However, I seem to turn all my sadness into anger, so when I was telling t about it he could feel me getting all worked up about it. I wonder why the heck I didn't realize it was sadness at first- and why I convert it to an angry feeling? Just a thought I have been having since my session with T yesterday.

Think I'll try shutting my eyes a while. The room is silent, but I can still hear noise. Hopefully the noise will be gone by tomorrow. Next time I should wear earplugs.

You're just as likely to be on the "wrong" side as a defender. Or is that not the point?

It shows she cares, doesn't it? She worries about you, maybe.

Even Madame T would phone me up if I didn't show.

That was not the point, and from my stance, also untrue.

Anger can cover over many feelings. That's one of the better lessons therapy has to teach us.

My boss wants me to come in half an hour earlier on Friday. Why do I feel my week is ruined?

Fell asleep ok earlier... Just feeding baby then hoping I can fall asleep again. Baby seems to be going much longer stretches at night and I find myself awake often almost waiting for her. I don't remember doing that with my first. I hope I can just start sleeping until she wakes me.

My toddler is awake and talking very loudly... I hope she goes back to sleep soon. She seems to be having an off night.

I went out for dinner with my neighbor today, for my birthday We had a nice time. We never got stuck for something to talk about. I feel like my t has turned me into a charming graceful dinner companion - quite a feat! Seriously, a good benchmark.

We saw babies at one restaurant! We went for appetizers at 4 pm. This young couple had a 5 yr old boy, a 2yr old daughter, (guessing both those ages) and a 4 month old baby girl (i asked). At one point, a binkie landed on our table. I was like, they just wanted some of this mussels sauce on it!

Cool! Always good when you feel good about an interaction.

lol. That's usually us. If we decide to eat out we go early so the restaurant is more quiet. My toddler is great in restaurants and baby just sleeps. When our toddler was 18 months we went away to a local resort and brought her to several fine dining restaurants. She was amazing.

Happy Birthday hankster!

My D who is sick came downstairs at midnight, she wanted to sleep with me. However, she didn't want to sleep on the bed, but on the couch. So, myself, D and my dog all "slept" on the couch last night... I foresee naps in our future, thankfully I had already arranged to have a sub today in my classroom since she can't go to school today!
