I am not sure which I find less edible - cool whip or fruit loops. Even as a small child I found them creepy - they turned the milk an odd color.
Children's cereal put me off of the stuff for years until I found grapenuts (with yogurt only - no milk) and muesli (again - yogurt not milk). We ate mostly cornflakes and snap crackle pop things - they got mushy within seconds of having milk put on them and my mother would often put them out with milk on them before waking the sibling and I up in the morning. I shudder still to think of it.
I did love it when my mom made grits.

yummy.. fruit loops! Kids and I ventured out for the first time today to get some essentials and pick up pizza and wings. Felt good not to be pent up in the house!

I love sugar but I can't eat kids cereals, ick...I was never allowed to as a child, anyway. To shut me up when I was little, my mother gave me either plain cheerios or those nilla wafers. Yuck.

I wanted a therapist who would actually listen to me.

Be careful what you ask for. You might get it.

It's still what I want. Just sooo embarrassing.

ARGHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!! Stupid apartment requirements! Every time I think I have everything I need something else!!!
I swear they're worse than the social security office and the DES rolled into one.
Okay, maybe not, but I am really frustrated! And I won't be able to drop off that paper until Tuesday because of the holiday. And I'm working on Tuesday. And then I have to get the kids and then I have T so I don't know when I'm going to be able to get to the stupid apartment office. Argh!

I'm at the 7 year old's school Valentine dance. It's making me cry seeing all the families with dads here...
All the boys around my son's age too...

Had a great day at work today. The valentine exchange was stupid-fun, actually, handing out my little hand-made cards to each person's box made me smile, and sitting at my desk working every time somebody came over and put a little card in my box, I felt insanely good inside, it's funny how something so SIMPLE made us all feel so good. I haven't had a valentine box since I was a kid!!

Awww, that is so sweet.. you are right, those things can make a person feel all nice and bubbly on the inside. I think that is why there are some people who don't care that V-day is all made up, its a day to show mushy love to one another and that's not so bad sometimes..

I'm pissed off, so hang on to your cushions, I'm flopping down angrily!

Oh, the couch is so much better than my real life. I don't have to deal with insurance companies totaling my car and paying less than I owe on it, and I don't have to sue the kid who's fault it was to have enough money to pay it off and try to buy another. Oh, and unless I'm mistaken there are no whiny teens, hyper first graders, and boxes of IKEA furniture waiting to be assembled either!

Hello couch, happy Valentine's Day to those who celebrate it, and happy long weekend for those with Monday off, and I'd be even happier with an umbrella drink and a back rub right now!

Thanks for listening and carry on, grumpy mess off to lalaland now.

I'm so sorry Stressed! I am a nervous driver and I always think to myself before driving: "Please don't wreck the car before it is paid off."

Ugh but in your case it was a young driver … I pulled into my apt complex today and a kid was looking at her cell phone the whole time. I think I yelled "heads up!!!!" Dammit look up!!"

I hope you sue the pants off that guy.
Thanks for this!

I hope not to have to sue him, but I'm preparing myself for the possibility anyway. Grrrrrr.

I love being alone. Probably because I rarely am. I'm selfish with my private time. Of course, when the nest begins to empty I'll be singing another tune!

Yeah, I generally value my alone time, because its a luxury with a 5 and 6 year old and a husband I should have planned my time a little better. H will be out of town for a whole week in March, so I will make sure to keep myself a little more busy.
