So. I have to do taxes. Or at least get the stuff together to send to our tax guy.

The funny thing is, we're going to get a refund. We always do. But for the first time in years, I've been so depressed and so anxious I haven't done our budget. And so to get the info, I have to log into our bank's website. And I want to hurl.

I told my H and he's going to sit with me tomorrow and we'll log in together.

I have so many judgments about myself I'm such a responsible person. I run a zero-sum budget. I balance the checkbook every week... and it's been three months since I last did it. Our expenses haven't changed so we've just been running on autopilot and yet...

I wonder why it is, that I can fall asleep on the couch watching tv. However, when I get up and actually get in bed for the night, I just lie there awake for hours on end? It is such a frustrating feeling!

Second feed of the night. She seems to be on two feeds consistently these days. Though now that I've pointed that out she will change it up... Just watch.

Windy out. I can hear the vents flapping. Hoping to get back to sleep quickly.

Now that you've pointed it out I hope it changes to just once a night 😀

I hope so too.

She's awake again now. Toddler is yelling in her room and woke her up. Thin walls.

Does anyone hang out anywhere else on PC? I've put my toe into other subforums but haven't found one that I like to hang around as much as psychotherapy.

I do. There are a few I like (bipolar forum, for example). Here, there are random blow ups. I guess therapists and therapy tend to bring out the, um...more flammable side of people.

I do some posting in the bipolar forum and occasionally the PTSD forum. Right now the psychotherapy forum is a mess and I probably just need to avoid it for a bit till the negativity blows through. Kind of sucks right now.
Thanks for this!

It's funny cuz it's true! Though I have belonged to forums dedicated to certain musicians/bands (who shall remain nameless so I may preserve any shred of dignity that I have here), where members would straight up tear each other apart over song interpretations and setlists. It was insanity!

CE, I hope you're safe, and stay that way. Anyone else from the area, too. I just tried to google a map of Vanuatu and New Zealand to see how far away they are but a quick search came up empty.

I guess I ignore the drama for the most part. I say my bit and move along. Because. But I like the couch.

I just haven't felt connected in the other parts of PC.

I've looked at other forums... Even just general discussion. I just have a hard time fitting in places so I am hesitant to try posting elsewhere. I almost did last night and a few nights ago, but changed my mind. Sounds silly when I think about it.

Is Yurtlandia in trouble? Are the peaceful Yurtlandians facing hardship?
What happened?

I thought things were going along relatively quiet right now. I haven't seen much drama recently.

Seriously? Today isn't bad, but the last few days have been awful.

I was being serious. I really have thought it was pretty quiet - I mean between people. Certainly not happiness in what some have reported being done to them by therapists - is that what is the problem?. I don't think of that as being the forum's difficulty or mess.
