ROFLOL.

I might eat 3 1/6 slices...

I'm having pecan pie. Only because I couldn't get a fruit pie. I like cherry or apple but the place I get them from only does those seasonally. I have a dietary issue and I also hate baking.

I am not a huge pie fan. It is okay but I prefer fruit plain without being cooked or anything done to it. I think the big thing for me is that I don't like crust that much.

Sort of like what people being trapped in blankets does to me.

And the cat thing seems to unsettle any number of people.

Good morning, Couch! Happy Pi Day!

Un-Pi Related (except that pie can be a great comfort food):
Just saw this on Facebook and thought it was perfect.
If only everyone were to comfort each other this way, the world would be much more peaceful.

Pie is okay, I usually leave the crust on the plate! Pumpkin or sweet potato is usually the only kind I eat, widely available at holiday parties, the only time I indulge.

Today is rainy and blah! I need to haul trash to the dump, broken bed and scrap lumber to the landfill (after I *fix* the dumb thing!!) and do general housekeeping around here. I would like to see the floor in my room before tomorrow night. Couch 90 - nine tee - not nine teen.

Have a good weekend couch!

For me, it depends entirely on the human. There are some humans I would not hesitate to share germs with. Others, it is a huge problem for me. My H set my kids down near some of my cousins' kids once when they were all very small. When I noticed, I zipped over, grabbed up my kids and started wet-wiping the heck out of them. My H was worried my cousins would be offended, and I was like, too damn BAD! You do not know these people.

One of my cousins recently shot a police officer in a convenience store parking lot. So far, no one in a position of authority knows who did it. I am not sure even which one of the group of cousins did it, but heard them discussing that one of them was the shooter. Not a nice group of people.

Ack Ack.
This does to me what dip dipping does to Wikid.

Double dipping doesn't bother me.

But I'm very selective with whom I share food and drink. My children are so slobbery I hate sharing with them so I don't. They may eat after me but I will not eat after them. My H is cool. I've got friends I totally will.

Kids can gross me out in general with the amounts of goo coming out of them. I can do it, like with my sibling's kids or babies left with me for care and so on. But random strange children I am not keen on even having them sit next to me.
That could be more because I am keen on general children in the first place.
Truth be told, I am not all that keen on other peoples dogs either. Cats I like no matter what.

Sharing chip bags is the least of the things we do. And since we have all been friends for about 30 years now, it has not done any of us any harm.

And our cats all walk on the countertops too. Although we do brush them away from the food and keep them off the table while we are eating.

Yeah. This is pretty much the same way I am. With food and the cat.

I remember a guy I dated was grossed out by the fact that my brothers and I made a big pot of mashed potatoes and gathered around it with three spoons and ate it out of the pot.

I walk around daily with kid goo on me. I'm just used to it. I did once pick my toddler's nose in the line at Tims and wipe it on my jeans. Then noticed a couple people appeared to be grossed out. What was I supposed to do? Leave it there? lol

I had cereal and fruit for breakky.

Headed to the fabric store today. I need super fluffy fabric for something. I hope I can find some. I don't want to have to mutilate a giant teddy just to get fluffy fabric.

My cats gross me out much less than people do...partly because I know where they've "been," ha.

I don't like them on the counters though, mostly because they also walk across the top of the oven and I don't want them to get hurt.

I can't stand double dipping, eating off other people's plates, etc. Ew.

Happy π day.
hmmm...I'm so SMAHT.

I like cherry pie. But the real deal (which I had a taste of last year). Not crazy about vegan pie crust.

I think the germ thing started when my d was young and put on immune suppressants. I started noticing germs, and when a germ can literally kill your kid...well, you kind of hate it. Now I take immune suppressants too, so I have to be careful. A little cold can put me in icu.
That said...I am really over-the-top grossed out by it.

Wow...Stopdog babysitting...that's a whole new SD image for me to process. I think I may actually need a T for this one.

It is only the parents who get all whacked out - the kids love this sort of stuff.

Sometimes we play Monks in the Abbey who have taken vows of silence - the kids look forward to chanting at pretend matins.

Little one is napping, still feverish and has plenty of goo, SD you're making me laugh today! Oldest is in her room visiting with a group of chattering magpies, AKA a group of giggling teenagers, and I'm taking a break from cleaning. I might nap with DD2 just because!

Is it sad that I wish my youngest would take a nap with me (just so I could get a nap and a few snuggles?) - I'm not normally a snuggler, but sometimes I just want to cuddle him!

He's a need his space kinda kid. Which is funny because I'm really the same way. So I respect it.

That being said, I had my T in stitches talking about my toddler. He's not shy, but he's not really warm to people... it takes him a bit. People will coo at him and be like, "Hi!!" and he'll just stare at them with this look that's like, "Who are you? Why are you talking to me?"

My T was like - "That's so you."

I can at least blame genetics for part of my anti-social tendencies
