Good point. Although in my head I imagine them getting other people to contact you and be like, "WHAT DID I DO?!" and then I'd have to block them and then... it would be an endless cycle of ignoring.

That's probably unrealistic though.

You and your boogies! My cough is still coughing without much left to cough too. As far as boogies - do dayglo green ones count as record breaking?

Mine acted like I was heading for bronchitis at first, now it's all in my head, and I think I likely have a sinus infection. Blech!!

Need a good fiction recommendation. I like quirky, but open to any ideas.

These look great! I'm looking forward to adding these to my to-read list.

The last historical novel was fiction, but I enjoyed it. "The Secret River" isn't new, but I stumbled on it somewhere. Based on the settling of Australia and the overlooking/ignoring the fact that it was already populated by Aboriginal people.

Must have been a glitch. I just tested it with someone who enjoys me as much as I enjoy her. I got the blocked message.

I've snuggle a bottle of cough syrup once, however sleep didn't come until after the snuggle wore off. Codeine keeps me awake, who knew?

Codeine is awful for me - it makes me feel like I can actually feel my hair growing and I get extremely edgy and cranky until it finally knocks me out. I really really dislike most meds and find the side effects, for me, outweigh the benefits.

I called my drs office for an appt but hes going on vac so i might just get a call back. I slept all afternoon. Im just a cough machine

I hate this not being able to evaluate how i feel. Or maybe its that i DO know how i feel - cruddy - and i dont like not being able to change it. I hardly even have any appetite - that means im REALLY sick!

Eta - yay, my dr called back! I have power again .

I thought you were getting better. Sorry you still have it - it has been taking 10 days to 2 weeks for all the people I know.
I don't use mds/medical establishment people for this sort of thing unless it turns into a sinus infection and after 2-3 weeks I decide to go for antibiotics. Usually it will eventually, for me, clear up on its own.

Reading this random book I found online about NPD. It's making me just cry and cry. I gave 15 years of my life to that... Might as well have thrown myself into a black hole.

I would need more information about how these people feel and function during these two weeks they are sick. I would also need a robot butler

Or a robot maid like Rosie from the Jetsons?? By the way, the Jetsons took place in 2062 (says Google) so sadly I guess we aren't quite there yet.
