Yeah it was kinda nice to hear thunder again. There was a tornado warning but it passed.

The weather here has been nice lately. I hope it stays nice for a while. I need to get outside with the kids more.

90 degrees today, I have the a/c on. In April. Yay.

DD2's 7th birthday is next weekend so she's trying to decide whether a lake-side picnic would be more fun than the skating rink. Hmmm. . .sunburn and possible drowning vs. broken bones and possible concussions. What's not to love?

Hope you're all well. Have a good night!

A thunderstorm'd be nice. Probably won't have any for another few months though...

Today is a very important T day for me.. talking about all I found out. T was sick last appointment and the rest of his family has been sick all week this week, realllllly praying that he doesn't cancel today. I have tried my hardest not be mad at him because on Monday when I talked to my mom, he said I could text him to tell him how it went. So, I did that, and then told him what I found out about my twin brother and he was shocked and asked if he could call me later. I didn't ask him to, he offered. Of course, he didn't call me. So, he knows that I am waiting to process all this junk with him. Sometimes, I wish my appointment wasn't the last one of the day!!!

(((Healed))), I hope your session goes well (and that he doesn't cancel). I also wish he would have called you when he said he was going to. It seems like that was an important time for him to have followed through.

Thanks, Elsewhere... If we get through all of the stuff that I want to talk about today, I will def. bring up the not calling me thing.

Holy cow I haven't had to go to the DMV in a few years. I forgot just how unnerving this place can be. And there's 55 people ahead of me waiting for replacement licenses...

Friday evening.

And as usual all the books and all the music and all the films are big fat liars. I am going to get myself a drink.

There's kids watching cartoons on iPads on either side of me, and some dude behind me listening to music on his phone, all at full volume. This is what you get, KD, when you're irresponsible and lose your wallet! 43 people still ahead of me. Yeesh.

ETA: wth is wrong with me, I'm liveblogging a trip to the DMV. As if anyone wants to live vicariously through me right now, lol.
Thanks for this!

Yikes. That's a huge wait. I live in a rural area. When I needed to update my license I was in and out in about 15 minutes max.

That would be amazing. Been here an hour and there's still 22 ahead of me. Gonna have to stay late at the office to make up for this. FML.

OK.... we seem to have dark ale, porter, a few different IPAs including one double IPA, stout, weißbier and one or two Belgians. No lager, I'm afraid - neither H nor I is a lager drinker.

Oh man, I love all the above! I'm a total hop head though, love me some IPAs or double IPAs. You have a favorite style, Mast?

Luckily for me, a bunch of people must've given up because they just flew through about a dozen numbers in 5 minutes!
Thanks for this!

Depends On a warm day, there is not much that can beat a weißbier, but in front of the TV at night I tend to go for the ale, dark or IPA. Stout is nice with food. Or without it. I also like barley wine.
Thanks for this!

One would think by this time that most of the DMV stuff could be done online and you could just go in for photos and driving tests if necessary, maybe to confirm that you are indeed you, have it streamlined. Same for public assistance. Except I don't know that I'd trust library computers to be confidential enough. Or shared WiFi.

Okay, I logged in to PC for a specific reason. Have therapy in less than 3 hours, things to write, clothes in the washer. Out of here for now!

A beer language. I love dark beer but hardly drink it. Budget mostly.
