My T sometimes leaves the room briefly when I am with him, so if it were me, I might use one of these brief "alone" times to quickly fix the book. I wonder if he would notice if you fixed it? Expressing Anger... That part of the journey...

Thanks for making me smile. I can't stand things out of order either. I think you should ask him if you could turn the book around. I would. He would probably get a laugh out of it. I straighten my T's rug when I go in. It's in front of a love seat and it always has a crease in the middle.
