Art, no need to specify Fahrenheit. You don't want to swim in water that's 67°C

I LOVE cold water..just have to psyche myself up for the first freezing submersion. ..then I can swim and swim...eexcept once I dove into a half frozen river to save a friend's dog. That was too cold. I nearly blacked out but manage to save dog and myself ( obviously)

Bleach. My friend does it. Waxing would make your arms bumpy I think. With the bleach you barely even see the hair

But 67°C is not cold water, that was kind of my point

And I learnt something new just now. I did know that many women in the US shave their legs (some do here, too, I think) but shaving or bleaching arm hair? That was an unknown concept! I vote no.
Thanks for this!

Some weird emotional regression thing happened to me in therapy today. I was telling T about things that happened 20 years ago and suddenly a whole load of emotions crashed over me. It was the strangest thing. I haven't quite got over it yet, I think.

I meant the part about shivering children....which would suggest it's cold?

Oh, sorry. I wasn't reading properly. Anyway, it is always too cold to bathe outdoors! (I am the only Swede who hates sea bathing.)

HI LOLA!!!!

Good afternoon couch.. I have been home with two sick kids yesterday and today.. Son's eardrum ruptured because of an ear infection, Daughter has a sinus infection. They are both on the mend and I am ready to go back to work. Anybody want to come clean my house for me while I bring S to his T appointment?

Thanks for the raccoon pictures! They're really cute!
I have friends who bleach hair on arms and also upper lip, they are naturally dark so it makes the hair less obvious. Personal choice, obvs...
You know when you just can't...settle. After therapy. All stirred up. Where's the wine....

I'll be joining the after therapy hangover club in a few hours - save room for me. :/ It's gonna be one of those sessions today.

I got that wine right here on the couch! Gonna get the cheese and crackers ready too.
As for bleaching on dark haired women all it does is make hair blonde! You still have the hair! I say wax it off girl!!! and then shave the rest! I can say this as a dark haired woman!!! Also facial hair freaks me out.

I have to admit I kind of wish I could get rid of my excessive facial hair. I have to shave my chin a couple of times a week - that is, I don't have to, but my own futile vanity tells me to do so. Nobody else cares whether I do or not... I really wish I was more rational.

Mast, rational and me are not really close acquaintances either. I went yesterday to have my eyebrows tinted, because they are half invisible and look too small. Well, today I'm going to have them shaped because now I look like Groucho Marx! Should have left them invisible, saved myself some money and some pain.

And, I now have a mustache and beard coming in (thanks menopause!) that I'm really self conscious about, even though those hairs are invisible as well, they GLOW in the sun.

Facial Hair Sux!!

I shave my chin too... every day. When we were still dating I hadn't one day and my future h said it was like he was kissing a guy. And I still married him anyway go figure. It wasn't even that bad, a lil stubbly I guess but geez. I've been super vigilant since.

I like my big, fluffy eyebrows. They make me look more intelligent (right??). That being said, I rarely get them waxed. I'm really thankful that I don't have a lady-stache though.

Thanks for the wine baseline, feeling a bit better now....

I don't have a problem with facial hair yet...but I have a rotary epilator that plucks all the hairs out really fast, and I use it on my (whispers)*big toes*. It means the re growth isn't stubbly, I use it on my bikini line too. It ****ing hurts.

Just wrote everything in a letter to t. Now what?
Thanks for this!

At least I don't have to get rid of any hair except on my chin so I guess I should be grateful. (My mustache doesn't bother me for some reason.)

Red, good for you. Did you send it off, too?

No. It's really long. I feel that I should pay somehow for the time it will take to read? But don't know how to do that, maybe leave session ten minutes early and give her the letter then?

I was watching a buzzfeed thing earlier - apparently unibrows were sexy in Ancient Greece. Women would glue animal hair in between their eyebrows if they didn't have a natural unibrow. Who know?

My skin is downy as all unholy hell, and I have a dark dark dark girl 'stash. Nair and tweezers are my friends.
