Idk - i watched Martha stewart make ricotta from scratch the other day - i sure did not know what was happening! It looks like magic - messy magic.

Ricotta, to me, makes perfect sense.

I can believe that.

I can believe she says it, I can believe she thinks it and I can believe it's true.

I am so mad at the babysitter (and a little at my daughter, but moreso the sitter) for letting her watch Harry Potter 7 right before bedtime on my date night!!! Literally, the *only* thing I said before I left tonight when she asked if she could watch a movie was "no Harry Potter."

So here I am after having set up such a relaxing night completely stressed out and angry because it took more than an hour to get her to bed and I had to help her through her anxiety and a panic attack. I don't like being angry and having to worry about my temper, about not turning into my own little version of the Incredible Hulk.

No screen time next time, ugh.

I need to relax, just needed to vent.

I'm feeling so... ick lately.

I was really sorry to hear you were on prednisone with ear trouble Growly. I hope it's better soon. If you feel bent out of shape, definitely blame the prednisone, it's what I was just on for the asthma and that stuff is strong.
Thanks for this!

Has anyone ever been to Ailwee Cave? It's in the Burren, in the west of Ireland. They make the Best Cheese Ever there and I want some now. Like right now.

Welp, I'm having new heart symptoms and my cardio doc says another nuclear stress test (heart test) is in my immediate future.

Those tests suck so bad! I have had one before...and argh. If a stress test with "normal" results hurts so much...I hate to think what an "abnormal" test feels like! Bah!

If it's positive, then I will be having a heart cath, too. At least I was given sedation for that test before...

Thanks!! I actually feel a little TOO good on prednisone, more energy but also an increased appetite! No one needs that! My asthma is pretty bad in the heat .

It may be a good sign that your daughter was trying to challenge herself with a scary movie? I think I remember doing this as a kid--wanting to stay up for a scary movie but regretting it later!

I hope it all goes well! My family has a history of all sorts of cardio issues--very upsetting to deal with!

Nah, not a good sign. She has so much trouble sleeping, I don't need any complications. It's really rough here overnights and has taken a lot of work to stabilize things. Not good for her to do that right before bed.

She has a habit of getting into these really scary things when given the chance to get into mischief. It's not a good habit. She's only 10 and not ready to be in charge.

I allow Harry Potter, we've read the books, but this was a bad choice. Definitely not why I pay the babysitter!

I'm glad to hear it. I wasn't lucky side-effect wise. Slightly better than my T though I guess- after I told her how I was doing, as I ended my Rx, she disclosed that when she had symptoms on prednisone, she had to go to the ER as she was so uncontrollably agitated. I could relate. It was a nightmare for me.

I hope the heat lets up soon and your ear feels better. Sounds so aggravating.

Morning, couch.

I am up and rested. Fell asleep when I got home last night. Had a long week with over 40 hours in customer service. :-P

I work again tonight but only about a 4.5 hour shift. Short shifts this week. I have C this week too. Late shifts at CVS and early days at C's...I'll be taking some naps between C and CVS this week.

I need to get a box and mail my mom's dog some toys I have accumulated over the summer. As I saw things on sale, I bought them and not have a bag full. He loves ripping paper, so I figure I will wrap each one and then send them off. Surprise the doggie.

Like he needs more toys, but he can have them.

Spent most of yesterday wretched from the migraine and upchucking. Today the headache seems a bit better but now my daughter is ill. There is a reason that teenagers are not in charge of the universe. She has celicac disease and chowed down on chicken nuggets anyway. I buy her gluten free ones for ****s sake. She says they are not the same.

Now I need to get ready for our big camping trip. This is the trip she has been wanting to do since before she got sick in the first place years ago. We have both really been looking forward to it. Luckily we had other horses so we don't have to cancel because of my horse's injury.

You're going on the camping trip on the horses? Sounds fun. Reminds me of 30 years ago when I used to go on canoe and backpacking camping trips.
