About to turn 50
This time around a year. About 10 years ago went for few years
See my t about once every three weeks sometimes two weeks.
I pay copayment and the rest is paid by insurance
I am not diagnosed officially. I have diagnosis that is primarily for insurance purposes ( it can't be real as it is diagnosed by my t after the first meeting I think, not a doctor or pdoc)
I work. A lot. Right now I have two jobs, actually kind of two and a half
I am in committed relationship, was married before

How old are you? -- 37.

How long have you been in therapy? -- About eight months, this stint. Spent years in it as a child/teenager.

How often do you go to therapy? -- Once a week. I met my deductible for the year so now I'm just gouging my insurance company (why not, it gouges me).

How do you pay for therapy? -- Was paying cash, insurance handles it for the rest of the year. In January it'll be back to cash again.

Do you have an official "diagnosis"? -- Terminal Depressive Gonzolitis, or depression to the layman.

Do you work? -- If you want to call it that.

Are you married/in a committed relationship? -- Not anymore, I ain't. What are you doing this weekend?
Thanks for this!

How long have you been in therapy? With current T, 4 years. With marriage counselor, 2.5 years or so, off and on (I've also done some therapy in the past, but no stints as long as my current T)
How often do you go to therapy? Weekly with T and MC (so two appointments a week total)
How do you pay for therapy? Out of pocket initially, then insurance reimburses 60% after meeting deductible (which we met kinda early this year!)

Do you work? Part-time from home in old field, looking for job in new field (got master's last year)
Are you married/in a committed relationship? Married, one kid

I'm 52.

I am no longer in therapy. Did basically three rounds of therapy at various times in my adult life: about 2 years during college; about 2 years in my late 20's; about 10 years in my 40's. It has been I guess a year and half or so since I was in regular therapy. I have not needed therapy or meds since. I consider myself very much healed and stable (about time!)

When I was in therapy, I went generally every week to 10 days or so. It varied with how I was doing, etc.

Insurance was an absolute must in order to afford therapy at all. Insurance got my out-of -pocket down to $25/session as opposed to the $125/session it would have been without insurance.

My diagnoses are bipolar disorder and PTSD.

I have worked as a teacher now for 30 years.

My husband and I have been married for 29 years. We have three awesome sons who are all almost out of the house.
