Wow, that kid must really want to teethe.

(Psst, kid, try that stack of rings to your right instead of something with claws and that already has teeth.)

That just makes me angry at whoever was taking the picture rather than rescuing the kitten. For the love of god, watch your children and keep the kittens safe.

Just an image I found. You're right stop dog- definitely cruel in retrospect
(being an animal lover myself it's probably in bad taste to post it. Sorry!)

No need to be sorry. And I can see the humor if it were a stuffed toy - I am not upset you posted it - I just despise clueless parents who think their kid mauling a baby kitten who is too little to get away is something cute. And who probably would blame the kitten if the child got scratched.

I am down to only one cat - I am holding firm until my oldest dog ceases to be - but I really love having more than one cat.

I would love to have a cat but my spouse is highly allergic (he loves them too) but I don't know why I couldn't have one as he travels 98% of the year anyway.... So I have two non allergic dogs, although they are allergic to everything (grass, other animals, wheat, corn, soy, chicken, beef, regular seasonal allergies)... No one is allergic to them but they are allergic to everything

Went to pick up bonus teen from work and it was 38 degrees outside (3.33 Celsius per my friend Google) wow, brisk! Now cuddling in fuzzy socks under a thick comforter hoping sleep and Advil will also be my friends tonight.

Goodnight couch!

Feeling like a right **** as I just had a spectaciular meltdown over a bottle of water. I keep a bottle of water in the freezer semi-chilled as it is so hot now, but the girls keep taking it out and drinking it. I have gently reminded them to keep it filled and chilled as lithium saps it out. I came up from hanging the washing out very dry i was and couldn't find the water in the freezer. I then had the biggest hissy fit I am so ashamed.

It may be just me, but my neighbour has just bought both his fore and aft masts back and has blocked our access to our bikes. I am so annoyed. I am trying to work out if this is a mood thing or if I can feel rightly annoyed. What with commercial truck driver parking in front of my bins and blocking part of net doors drive i feel conspired upon.

On both counts, I would be pissed. Also ashamed of my hissy fit! Easy to be mad at the neighbors and take it out at home. I'm sorry BPA!

Cats don't want siblings, but they get used to them eventually. Like humans, I guess!

Yep, I did poorly. Being tone deaf has been one of my greatest laments in life I got a 17 out of 26.

That is fascinating. I also knew it was genetic as my dad has the worst singing voice ever, and he refuses to believe it.

I love cats and babies, and am pretty sure that this kitten was fine. This baby probably is just "gumming" the kitten's head.

I agree. The kitten does not appear to be in distress, altho its tail signals some surprise. It does have those little needle claws to protect itself. It probably thought its mama was giving it another bath!

I don't mind babies but ones that large have started having some teeth. I am not at all certain the kitten was fine and certainly don't think it obvious it was having a good time -even if it was only being spitted upon by the child - the child could be gripping the kitten too hard. Gumming a kitten's head and squeezing it is still not something a parent should think cute and photograph in lieu of rescuing the kitten from the child. A kitten is not a teething toy for a human child.
