All this talk of cats and biting them reminds me that wasn't there some medieval secret society that swore members in by making them kiss the...ah, business end for doing No. 2...of a cat?

And that has just made me realize that I call my therapists nicknames that are also used for bodily functions. Hmmm.

On a more catastrophic note the waiting room at T has changed radically and upset me greatly. The first change i noticed is the 2 white leather chairs are gone replaced by 3 green plastic garden chairs. I really really hope there is never going to be more than 2 people waiting at the same time. The beanbag and quilt are gone too. There cheap young adult female magazines, 2 racks of them.

Ah yes. We often discuss this steel trap of a brain of mine! Or roach motel? "They check in, but they never check out..." no wait - that describes ideas and trumps brain...

well it's been a week since t asked me "what are you avoiding?" and I am still working on my answer. She knows how to ask the really good questions....

Off to work with me, training has been an enjoyable break from being on the phones. Toward the end of the training though, we will be taking calls just in the queue that the particular calls we're learning to handle come in on. It's good that we do that, since we'll all be able to help each other and the trainer will too. I hate taking calls in a classroom because of the noise level but... would rather do that, than just go out on the floor where no one that sits around me takes these calls!

Eeek! I applied for a job last night and the director called this morning and asked me to come in for an interview TODAY!!! Ahhhh! Looking for a good interview outfit and trying to keep my nerves in check!

Just got a crappy email from T. She's basically threatening to terminate me unless I do something, but she doesn't actually say what that is.

And for the last few sessions I've been trying so, so hard. I do everything she says. Even things I really don't want to. I'm talking to a social worker about moving out of my parents' house, for god's sake, because she thinks it'd be better. What the hell am I doing wrong?

My response to that is why don't you try being a better therapist and I will let you know when I am ready - not your call. I believe in being firm with therapists.

Interview went well!! I found out that the position is much higher up then a mere admin. Support position.. Like, I would be in charge if boss isn't there! She said she would call me early next week! So, we'll see!!
