I see nothing against tins of food and expiry dates as they are hermetically sealed and theoretically can last forever.
Thanks for this!

TMC is playing "Broadway Melody of 1940" with Fred Astaire and Eleanor Powell. After that, "Born To Dance" with Eleanor Powell and James Stewart (who warbles 'Easy To Love,' it says.

I love TCM.

We're watching the Sound of Music sing-along and having great fun. We're such musical nerds around here. My son is baking cookies and the house smells yummy. SOOOO nice to be home!!

I feel too self conscious going commando in public.. But I do admit if you knock on my door and I have been home all day.. No undergarment will be on at all.. I like the feeling, just not out in public! Couch 105-The couch with no issues.

I'm a proponent of going commando, however my wobbly bits must be restrained in public. At home there's a rule. If I'm not leaving the house then I'm not wearing a bra. I used to sleep nekkid but having kids changed that, and now I'm cold so fuzzy jamjams and thick socks please!
Thanks for this!

Hmm, I was told years ago that sleeping in your panties promoted infections. Was that my mom that told me that? IKN. But can't tell under a gown...

FYI: I have never had any infections.....not even a yeast infection, and I'm 50+

Maybe some "old wives tales" are indeed true.

Hmm I sleep in my underwear and I'm 41 and never had a lady parts infection either
My 4 dogs sleep with us. Underwear is absolutely necessary to avoid cold noses in rude places...

The only time I've been comfortable going commando was when I was pregnant with the eight year old. I couldn't stand anything tight around my middle for the last few months. I lived in a purple maternity sundress... Child was born in November She doesn't feel the cold to this day...

Hey all, glad to see everyone. Been off work for about an hour and chillin' in front of the tv and my laptop. I'm in the same spot all the time and they haven't taught me how to take orders yet almost 9 days into working there which equates to 3 weeks tomorrow. ah well not my problem. otherwise all is good. won't see T till after the holidays. nice break.

Agh-the cat just ran out of dry food. I thought I had another bag but I don't. The cat is acting like he never gets fed (he has canned food out too-he just likes the dry kind better)

I almost have everyone's christmas presents finished. Just need to stop at AC Moore on the way to FL to pick up some beads and stuff to make earrings. I gave up on crocheting the scarf i was doing because there's no way to get it done by christmas.

Someone tell me: No facebook arguments about race or religion before 10 am or on the day following the passing of a loved animal. I am testy and on high alert. Not a good time to engage, right?

TRIGGER WARNING FOR DISCUSSION OF ANIMAL DEATH:

The kitty passed away quite peacefully early this morning. I stayed awake with her until the end to be sure she was comfortable and not afraid. She just went to sleep in our bed as usual. The other animals were sweet too. Her best cat friend stayed with her also until the end and the immediately left and went back to her usual spot. As soon as I moved the kitty to the other room, the youngest cat leaped into my arms and went back to bed with me and cuddled for quite a while. Young dog is quite unhappy. The cats are her 'herd' and losing one is very hard for her.

Do you guys bury your furry friends or cremate? Trying to decide what to do.

Sorry to hear about your cat MKAC.
It is hard on the other pets. My dogs are quite attached to their cats too.

I bury cats and cremate dogs (the dogs are usually large and digging a giant hole is usually not something I am keen on doing)

I did not know it was on a tv commercial - maybe I picked it up from a tv in the background. What are they advertising? Is tony bennett still alive?
