Barnes and Noble. Its somewhat indistinguishable from a scene from The Walking Dead.
Thanks for this!

Haha! That's v funny!

It's wet and rainy and weirdly warm here. Guess we have heated the planet up to just the right temperature now, no more snow

MKAC I'm sorry for your loss.

I didn't feel right putting a post about underoos on the same one as giving condolences...

I don't think I could ever go commando. All I will say is that I should buy stock in Kotex pantiliners.

I wear loose fitting sleep pants and a tank top at night. Cotton underoos at all times.

(((MKAC))) I am so sorry for your loss. Losing pets is so difficult.

I have cremated my two kitties that I have lost. Their urns are on my dresser...the one place they always wanted to be but were never allowed because they would always knock crap over. I figure they would be pleased about that.

Wait, Elsewhere -- your kitties accept that there is a place called "never allowed"???? I took a photo of one of my cats on the kitchen table and sent it to my friends with the caption, "what is this 'not allowed on the table' thing of which you speak?"
Thanks for this!

Sorry to hear, MKAC.

My cat died a month ago today and I had her cremated. The ashes came back in a nice little wooden box with a nameplate. Don't know what I'll do with them yet.

Everyone in our office is excitedly discussing Star Wars. Totally not exciting for me. Better than football though, I suppose.

Because you're grieving or because Star Wars just isn't your thing?

I'm a total sci-fi geek, but Star Wars has never piqued my interest. Still, I'm going to take my oldest to see the new movie after the new year.

It is not my thing. I was into Star Trek, though. I am not sure I am grieving. Just kind of sitting here, not thinking really and playing on the net and flipping back to actual work for a few minutes at a time.

I too was into Star Trek. Stargate later superseded my love of Trek. I still miss that show.

I wrapped the presents and they're under the tree. I'm further torturing my sons by not putting names on the presents. I know what belongs to which kid, but they'll just have to continue to guess. It's my sinister plan to drive them up the wall.
Thanks for this!

I sleep clothes free but I keep a sweatshirt and sweatpants right next to the bed in case a dog has some emergency need to go outside. In the winter, one of my dogs prefers to curl up in my clothes rather than join the other dog and cat who are on the bed with me.

It's the 22nd today! I was thinking Christmas was next week. Good thing I can't really be bothered so I won't freak out too much about it. I do have a present ecah for the girls. My youngest gets a cheap book just so there is something to open on the day, becasue her real present is still in transit and won't get her til after the new year.

I suspect my ex gave me the girls this week because he can't be a**ed to do christmas. I have a srange suspicion he was secretly hoping I would ask him over here on Christmas Day. NO! He go to to his totally overbearing and controlling parents and look after his mum as she has had surgery.
Am I being cruel and spiteful?

I have a few more presents to go under the tree that need to be wrapped. My oldest will be nine in a couple months. My younger is 2.5. For the little one, we have a few new things but we have a TON of stuff that belonged to his older brother that we've decided to just wrap up. (Is that terrible?!) - He can't tell. I do little advent calendar gifts and I took my older son's old cars (die-cast from the movie Cars! Those suckers weren't cheap...) and wrapped them up. Little one is tickled by his "vroom-vrooms" and loves to make them roll all over.
