feeling unsettled.
i feel like my T is playing games with me.
so confused. at one hand i think hes so engaged in session that i must be mistaken.
on 2nd second hand when i look at things he has done and said...its definitely to get me to leave him for good.

maybe its time to look for another T...or just test someone out...
i dont want to play mind games in therapy.

example: T asks me what would u like to discuss today. ( i was totally caught off guard, as he has never asked me this, just before that we had a teeny tiny confrontation so i think he was mad at me, and thus put all the pressure on me to start) so i told him i want to discuss XYZ ! we discuss it whole session...no problem.

next session: he starts by saying he feels last session was not a good use of our time and he hopes current session is spent on something that is useful and important to me ???????? then he asks what would you like to talk about today?

ahhh..wow...i found last session quiet useful. u let me choose what i wanna talk about then u turn around and say it was a wrong choice? when i am not even complaining?

ACK! Hope that's a rough draft, BPA.

It's raining, boo, yet surprisingly warm, yay! I'm late to bonus teen's 6am pick up because the snooze button is not my friend. No big deal because she's still in there, might as well spend my wait sleeping. Happy Tuesday Couch!
Thanks for this!

Hi, couch.

Been a few busy days, but I am alive and well.

Have T today and then CVS. Was a madhouse at CVS yesterday, I guess the holidays are bringing people out to get their meds before heading out of town. Or it could be the fact that the snowbirds are all here now too. Or maybe a little of both.

The resident dog is in my room right now, chilling on my bed. He followed me in after I went out to use the bathroom. His mommy is out right now, so I guess he wanted company.

I just used the withholding calculator on the IRS website and it estimates that I have overpayed my taxes and will get a $400 refund. Of course, I won't know for sure until I file, but at least it looks as though I will not owe anything. Even if the refund is smaller than estimated, if I don't owe anything, I'll be happy.

My December 24th (a day early since Friday is a holiday) paycheck from CVS cannot come soon enough. I am down to skin and bones in my bank account after a $600 car repair for a new radiator (my old one exploded). Well about $100 of that was for the towing, but still took a hit on my during the holidays.

I still need to get a couple of gifts before Christmas. I just need my paycheck first. I have 2 gifts so far (is it bad that they are gifts I got this year that I can't use and am re-gifting). One is one of those warmers for the scented wax stuff (wickless candles?) with a few of the squares that go in it. The other is a box of scented bathsoap (the bathroom I share here has no tub, only a shower). Mom is getting one, step-mom the other (I'd really rather not get her a gift, but I will be shamed by her and dad if I don't...an hey...I'm not paying for it). Still need to buy dad one. Everyone else can do without a gift this year. Step-dad won't care. Grandma already said not to get her anything. Brother won't care. And that is all I have. Oh...I did get the resident dog a gift and my mom's dog (I used my CVS rewards bucks to buy them). Hmm...maybe I should get my housemates something small...I do see gifts under the tree from them to me. I'll figure something out.

Well, I need to go take my meds and shower and try to get some laundry and cleaning done before T. Later couch,

hey couch. last day of training today. we took turns taking calls yesterday in the classroom (it's too loud for all 21 of us to take calls at the same time, so we paired up and one person watched while the other person took calls to keep the noise level down. Same today.) I like that we get to do it this way, taking calls with our instructors in the room to answer any questions we have, because these callers require a higher level of support, finesse and knowledge on our part to handle them correctly, so only the senior advocates get them. They're having a holiday lunch for us today at work catered by a local mexican restaurant yay! and I'm working 4 hours on Friday, for extra $$. Well I need to head to work. Have a good day/night, couchies!!

My day off...YAY! Don't know what I'm going to do with it but I have it off. I was gonna go see grandma but I'll see her Friday. Might go have lunch with mom at her work but don't know yet. Gotta go talk to the lady that did the class to learn to do taxes. However, can't do that til 1. I gotta call and make sure the test I'm getting done to see if I have carpal tunnel is covered...gotta do that today. Anyway, it'll be a boring day.

Got some good news for Christmas, some of the exes tools I sold on consignment got a new home, and I get a tiny extra cash cushion. Maybe we can buy some goodies for a Christmas feast, since I opted out of the madness at my sister's. Whew, best decision I made all year.

Came out here to nap in the truck on lunch, it's not cold and the rain sound lulls me. However my brain refuses to get with the program. I hear the older we are the less sleep we need. Doesn't that mean we aren't tired then?!

I would, but I'm in the middle of South Dakota right now, where, I swear, the "regional delicacy" offered at the hotel breakfast was "bagels and cream cheese."

So you might want to go read the cake thread instead.

I never saw a state more meant for speeding than South Dakota. Long, straight roads. Not a lot of scenery variation.

Okay, car. Show me what you got.

Quiche? Casserole? Fried eggs over brussel sprouts on a bed of rice?

I will probably shave the brussels sprouts and make fried rice with the ingredients.

Decided it was too hot sitting in the car. Even with the window rolled down. Yay Florida. Inside T office now. Early. At least it's not hot.

I am a little worried she is hoing to want to talk about my holiday plans. Which are non-existent right now. Stupid last minute planning family. Not that I want to see them. But I will never live it down if I don't.

I just looked at my paystub online for CVS pay day on Thursday. It is larger than expected. Nice little cushion to replace the money I had to dole out on my car lately. Stupid car. But I can't afford a new one. And my credit is shot, so a loan is out of the question.

I still need to clean my room. I am off Thursday, so maybe I can tackle it then. I just don't have the motivation to get it done. I feel so dirty.
