Youll get fewer of these:

Also i prefer to do mine sitting down. Actually if you just take up racewalking, that will give you great flanks. :

The ex is the biggest f-ing douchecanoe moron on the face of this earth. He's supposed to have the kids til Tuesday because of Spring break. Today when I drop then off tells me he's working all week and can only keep them for the afternoon.
Well, it's not like I didn't expect it. I already arranged childcare. I know him very very well, after all. Doesn't stop me being pissed about it...
I just had a conversation with the eight year old about how her father loves her very much, but that he's not very good at loving people.
It's really not fair. My kids deserve better.

i was just thinking about something. about what my t does: she listens to me. to every part of me. from the sad & lonely little girl to foot stomping, petulant 15 to adult me just trying to get along in the world. she listens. And because she listens, she sees me too. And I have gradually come to realize that I am worth listening to and worth being seen. It's finally sinking in.

ETA: I was invisible as a child. Except for when I was in the way. And I grew up with no self-worth at all as a result. It's time to let that go. I'm writing a new life story now. One in which I matter, and I am filled with my sense of Self, a whole and loving and loveable person of worth.

I also hate the shift to Daylight Savings Time, especially now that it's earlier in the year than it used to be. My birthday is in January, so I figure I was naturally set to be on that time, not Daylight Savings. I always feel like I'm jetlagged or something the first few weeks of the time change. Sigh. (I'd say I should move to Arizona, but I hate the heat!)

You could also tell her this is why who selects the next supreme court justice is so pivotal and may affect the rest of her life. Otherwise her dad would have better paternity leave, not be so old-fashioned. I like to blame society whenever i can

Ha. Her dad did get paternity leave - he spent it in the casino. Some people are just assholes regardless of who sits in the Supreme Court.
Mind you, babygirl wants to be a judge when she grows up

Hi couch. A tired and lost growly just sitting here for awhile.

No need to worry about working for giant evil company. My recruiter rescheduled our phone contact time. Then when the day and time came she never called, not a response to my follow up email not even an oops sorry. Hope she didn't die or anything. Just very unprofessional of her to go and die on me. Doesn't she know I need another job? jeesh.

Job search--rebooting...

Can I be a total baby and complain? -
Surgery was Thursday.
I hurt all night last night. Woke up on the hour. I still have pain meds but don't want to use them all up. Arrgh.

I'm hot, then I'm shivering. Now I'm hot again. No fever. Wish it was...at least i would know what to do for it.

They say to take your pain meds and stay ahead of the pain. Are you taking them now?

My yoga teacher loves the Buddha squat pose. Basically a squat with feet FLAT on the ground and butt and hips below thighs...she likes to hold it for what feels like hours. I usually think I am going to die about 2 seconds before we finally move out of the pose.

My rugby coach used to make us do "squat thrusts"...start in push up position, jump into squat with feet between hands, jump straight up as high as you can, land in another squat, jump legs backwards into push up position again. Sometimes he'd make us do actual push ups between the squats. His strategy worked though. Since rugby consists of two halves with no breaks and no substitutions except in cases of severe injury, we won a lot of games solely by being fitter than our competition...

You should take the pain meds.
If you use them all.up the doctor will either give you more or decide something is not right and address the underlying problem.

A fellow rugger!!

I actually like that drill for about 1 minutes, and then its a beehotch

I am a preschool teacher, and every day I am fascinated how limber kids are. They all just hang out in that low squat pose with their butts nearly touching the ground, and flat feet. It makes me jealous!
