Okay Couch people, help me figure this out.

In the last month, I hit a wall about 1PM and feel like I could just curl up with my blankie and pillow and sleep. I didn't used to have this problem, and it is a problem since I still have one more class to teach at that point in the day. And it is sleepiness, not just tiredness. What the heck?

My sleep habits are decent, certainly not changed. I'm eating well. Not consuming loads of caffeine or anything. Doctor says I'm healthy. But it's driving me crazy.

Any ideas? I'm stumped.

Off to church choir. Solve my sleepiness problem while I'm gone.

I don't want to get too personal since I don't know how old you are, but daytime sleepiness can be a symptom of menopause.

So pretty!
I miss my garden back in California. My roses were amazing if I may say so myself
Arizona is beautiful, but it's not exactly the greatest place to try and garden, especially when you're trying to garden on an itty-bitty balcony...

Are you eating enough protein for lunch? Also menopause did do odd things to my sleep/sleepiness.

I am watching OLD episodes of The Bill and am wondering why pubs think Scotch Eggs would be something that goes on a wedding buffett?? Maybe things were different in the 80's. btw I love Scotch Eggs and all donations will find appropriate housing in my stomach.

I love the couch, and the tiger couch is cool. Those bloomers need to be run up a flag pole!

I also have mental pictures of my Couchies based on a couple years of posting. If you are curious, I look like the dude in BunYip's ack poster. In my spare time I contemplate taking over the world!

Have you been checked for diabetes? Are you thirsty a lot?

Hi MKAC!

I'm hearing that you think you're not like other people and never will be.

That's the case with me. I'm an Aspie and I am often aware that the world has been created by and for people who are not like me. However, I'm not the only one and whatever you turn out to be, I bet there are more of you than you think.

That probably doesn't help much...

It took me many years to realise that Madame T had no imagination or initiative and in some respects didn't even listen properly. I was mightily peeved that after all I'd told her she still didn't understand me. Maybe you need to switch Ts. I sense that you need structure. A behavioural approach that teaches skills might suit you better. It would be a change, anyway.

My ex is trying to make me out to be unfriendly as I sent a text to ask him to pick up oldest as I was takng youngest to doctor and I have been in appointments all morning so i texted instead of rang as he doesn't always answer his phone. I think he actually has something wrong with his brain and his mental health nurse who in my opinion never says anything sensible actually agrees.
