I stayed home from work today. My allergies are driving me insane. Usually I get the burning eyes, stuffed up head stuff, headache. That's normal for me. But this time it is affecting my skin. I itch constantly, and it kept me up last night. About 1AM I gave in and called in a sub. It probably has to do with the dry and warm winter we had, but it is pretty miserable. At least today was only a half day anyway, so it wasn't a great loss to not be at school.

Another day fixing fence. Whew. Why do horses have to believe that the grass is greener on the other side of the fence?

I foresee the church's first major theological issue. If it's the Holy Rightity...what about the other one?

I had a dream the other night where I'm tapping my fingers on a table and tiny monkeys were created and danced around. Creepy.

The other one is the 2nd part of the holy bi-ity. You know, instead of trinity. But i don't know what that word is. Diad? Where are my pain meds? Ahaha. The Couch - Cent Dix (110): A Little Bit of Everything, A Whole Lotta Nothing

Allergies can be miserable at this time of year. I hope the antihistamine or what ever you have to help kicks in soon. Something around here is so bad that I have had to start giving my oldest dog benadryl to help him because it is giving him itching skin too. The vet said it had hit a lot of dogs hard recently.

So far the dogs seem okay. Last two years our Scottie had horrible itching skin this time of year and even chewed a bald spot on her haunches, but we switched to a grain-free food (no chicken or lamb either) and that seems to have made a HUGE difference. We'll see how the next few weeks go for them. Maybe I need to eat their dog food.

With as much as it costs (knowing what I spend on my dogs' food) - it might taste pretty good.

Apparently the Amazon warriors used to bind their right breast before puberty so it didn't develop to preserve the throwing strength of their right arms... A theological point maybe?

Hippocrates describes a group of female warriors: "They have no right breasts...for while they are yet babies their mothers make red-hot a bronze instrument constructed for this very purpose and apply it to the right breast and cauterize it, so that its growth is arrested, and all its strength and bulk are diverted to the right shoulder and right arm."

Perseus Under Philologic: Hipp. Aer. 17

Hey youll have to ask the prophet breadfish. These things were not written originally in this language! Is that a great excuse or what?! The interrobang (?!) being the preferred punctuation of our new church.
