I don't think it is possible to tell a T "too much". The more you tell them, the more they have to work with. And the harder it is to tell, the more relevant it is.

But that's just my opinion.

Think that was Velcro...and the cat got dependent on it! You have been warned.

Yep...be careful!! When he is a giant dog, (and mine is just a big cat now!), he will forever look at you with those cute eyes and face and expect you to help him get those pesky flies...

Oddly enough, my UPS package is deemed "lost" as of this morning. Huh. Go figure.

UPS lost a package of mine - a tv ordered from amazon- a couple of years ago. The tag with my name and address had gotten torn off and they somehow could not find me just by using the numbers that were still on the package (I eventually found it in the lost packages UPS place by hounding them until they checked - by that time I had gotten my money back from amazon and told ups to just send it back to amazon - their lack of initiative in finding the sender or recipient was somewhat dismaying). I have also had UPS (more than USPS or Fed X) mis deliver packages to me (that belonged to neighbors) or neighbors getting mine.

My therapist just came up as someone I might know on Facebook. It is a picture of him with his wife on his lap. Bleah. Lap sitting = foreplay for me and I don't need to see that.

My t told me a long time ago that she won't do Facebook because of her job and I'm glad, I never had to run into stuff like that.

I snooped my T's Facebook once. It was mostly private but the cover photo was her with her then 9 year old son snuggled up on a couch together. There was a brief stab if grief but I found the photo very reassuring and have thought of it often. That photo said to me that she was exactly who she presented herself to be. The gentle, caring T I knew wasn't an act. The tenderness she was showing her son and the tenderness she shows me come from the same source. That's just a huge comfort to me for some reason.

To me lap sitting wouldn't be that weird but I'm pretty small and there are pictures of me in people's laps who are just friends, it was just a way to get me in the picture.

I seek the wisdom of the Couch. With a dumb question.

How do you break open a capsule? I'm supposed to be taking half the dose in the capsule, so I'm supposed to be breaking it open, dumping it in a bottle of water, then drinking half the bottle that day and half the next. And I'm stymied on how to get the capsule open except by using scissors, which is getting messy as powder then flies everywhere, least of all in the water. Capsule won't dissolve in the water, I tried that already.

A lot of the time capsules exist of two halves, one of which is a little bigger and goes around the other that's a little bit smaller. If you press the smaller half so that it sort of folds into itself, and then pull both halves..

I had a dream about my T last night. In 5 years he has never spoken in my dream but he did last night. I was lost in a city with another female whoo I couldn't work out my relationship with. I didn't now whether she was my D, a friend, a relative or a lover. But we turned up to Ts apartment and explained the situation and he brought us up to his apartment. He rang people trying to find out where we had to go but the place on my map didn't exist like a who suburb wasn't on his map or anybody elses. We spent the rest of the dream travelling around in the rain with a faulty umbrella until i woke up. In the dream I am much younger than I am now.
