UPS makes me want to bang my head against the wall repeatedly. I was supposed to receive a package today, and I have not. Plus the tracking info has not updated to show it will be late...

UPS: "Even though this scan is missing, it does not necessarily mean that the package will be delayed for there is no such indication."

Me: "Except that it does not show it is out for delivery...and it does not show it ever made it to my city, which should have happened last night."

Um, I also don't have the package, which is a HUGE indication!?

I have such a headache, and the big kids went off and left the little here. Wails of anguish are not good for me! She's watching tv now and enjoying being in my pocket, but all I want is dark and quiet. I love my kids, you would never know with the way I complain all the time. But, is the living room so very far away?

It is very funny watching the puppy attempt to do the kittie cat head boop. She loves the young cats so much but has learned they do not enjoy being barked at or chewed on or slobbered on. So she tried a head boop this morning. The youngest cat thought it was cool and started grooming her. Pup is like, OH, WE'RE LICKING EACH OTHER NOW! YAY!!! And proceeded to begin slobbering on the cat. Cat smacked her and tried to leave. Pup laid on top of the cat and then they were both perplexed about what to do next.

Found out my ranking today at work as of the end of February. Since my promotion, I'm in a much smaller 'ranking group' as far as schedule bids go, just the Senior advocates. There's 29 of us and I ranked 24. I am struggling mightily not to beat myself up. I've only been taking these calls for what, 3 months now. Not a super long time to have gotten my stats back to where they need to be. I went from being ranked in the single digits out of like 200 advocates, to being 24 of of 29. It feels horrible because I have been working SO hard to bring my stats back where they need to be. I went swimming when I got home and I swam hard, to wear myself out, and that helped some. But my brain still wants to berate itself. Stupid old learned behaviors from when I was a kid why are they SO hard to chisel out of our brains??!

I think I'll go immerse myself in that book some more. Can't stay up reading too late, cuz we're doing our volunteer roadside trash pick up in the morning, but maybe my namesake will make herself heard and I will stop being so down on myself.....

Did you hear about the merger between Fed Ex and UPS? Yeah, they're gonna be called "FedUps."

There's supposedly a pressure point on your hand that helps with headaches. I wish I remembered exactly where - I think it's just behind the "V" your thumb and forefinger make on the outside of your hand. I had a really bad one this one time when I had met my parents for dinner, felt so miserable I didn't want to be there, and my Dad told me about it, he applied pressure there with his thumb and it did ease my headache somewhat. Don't know if it will help but thought I'd mention it. Hope you feel better soon.

Hi, couch.

Long time no see.

I am doing well. I am still working two jobs and working on my Master's degree. I am finishing up my 2nd week in my 2nd class and earned an A in my first class, but that teacher was an easy grader, this class is a bit more stringent, but I am sure I will still do well.

I wasn't taking my medication for a while and got myself into trouble at my school job. I got really stressed with the students and the principal had the school district make a mandatory EAP referral for me (even though I have a therapist of my own and see a psychiatrist). So for 6 sessions, I have to have 2 therapists. That's how many sessions the school board mandated with their choice. I have had 3... she's okay, she just focuses on my childhood as the reason why I am the way I am today and that I need to leave behind little squirrel and enter the big squirrel world. She says I owe it to myself in order to be happier. Grrrrrr.....

I still like my own T better. She talks to me about current day things, not solely my childhood. I don't want to relive my childhood...I want help with my current issues.

I saw my pdoc yesterday. I still am on the injection for one of my medications. He asked, "Are you ready?" as usual. I told him that I was starting to get used to them. His comment back..."It's about time, it took you long enough." and then smirked. When I told him about the whole school incident in detail, he immediately asked "are you taking your medicine?" When I said I wasn't at the time it happened he responded that he told me if I played with fire I would be burned and I was burned, so he hopes I learned my lesson. As I was leaving he told me to take my medicine and stay out of trouble. I guess I deserved it...I really do need to focus on taking my medication. I am so bad at it for some reason.

Squirrel, welcome back! - one of those daily pill boxes maybe? Right next to something you use every day like your hairbrush?

I do have a pill box, I used it for a while and it worked. Then I stopped because I didn't check my email in the morning anymore and was keeping it by the computer from earlier. Hairbrush sounds like a good idea.

Squirrel--I have meds I have to take every day, and I would never remember without a pillbox. I keep mine on my nightstand, but keeping it by your hair brush or toothbrush might work, too. I'm sorry you had a bad reaction to forgetting your meds.
Thanks for this!

I am thinking about cancelling my T appt. I very rarely think about cancelling but I don't think I should have told my T so much last session.
