Kinda freaking out! I might have to switch therapy to once a month because of insurance(medicaid). Oh well, I'll survive. I always do.

That sucks! Can you appeal that? Force them to give you more therapy through higher-ups in the organization (or possibly the courts)?

I'm trying to save leave time. But I really really really don't want to be here. I'm not feeling so great, and the pollen has attacked my eyes along with my sinuses, and I didn't get a whole lot of sleep last night, and (insert annoying whining here) I think I'd be happier if I just stayed here and toughed it out. Being home makes me feel bad about messes, and lack of motivation to clean up messes, and beating myself up for my lack of motivation.

Ahem. The last phase of our life is called generativity, where we do carp for the next generation. Idk i read stg about it a long time ago and have been waiting to use it in a sentence ever since.

I played with them when they were babies and toddlers and I will listen to them once they have figured out a sense of narrative. They have grandparents and parents to deal with them whilst they figure out how not to bore the pants off of the less-adoring aunt. One of the other things we learn as we get older is that we don't have to be everything to everybody. I draw the line at listening to children talk. Good self care is not something to be ashamed of. And I am not.

Totally forgot T's village is cut off from electricity today, so I walked in to find the room covered in candles. Therapy by candlelight - very surreal!

Afternoon, couch.

Well, no schoolwork got done. I laid down to rest my eyes and ended up falling asleep and just woke up. I have to leave for the stupid EAP in 30 minutes, not enough time to read a chapter. Oh well. I can do it tonight.

Those Harry Potter films really made an impression on you, huh?

I have met therapists not unlike that Emma Thompson character.

You know you have to pay a copyright fee to SD to use a double negative on the couch. We should probably add that to the bylaws

Eta - i am just busting my own butt with how funny i am lately. What is going on??!

I love therapy by candlelight. My t always has a couple candles lit and her salt lamp no need for other lighting cuz I've been going in the morning lately and there's 2 windows. The have shades on them so don't let in too much light. A very softly lit room adds to the sense of security i feel there.

An inflated sense of self?

Actually I think you're on a roll these days.

eta: I'm pretty sure I owe SD scotch anyway, or maybe port, to make up for a bottle I ruined or wasted.
