Yeah, she responds to emails. And it wasn't something I wanted to discuss - just something I should tell her. The whole reason I was procastrinating telling her in the first place was because I didn't want to discuss it.

Tired, mostly. Had school and T today. Therapy was about as pleasant as therapy can be. Except my doorknob confession (which I didn't do at the doorknob, but sent through email afterwards) which - for me, not for T, as she didn't know - overshadowed the session a bit.

How are you doing?

I'm glad you're doing well and that you had a fun few days.

I hope your NP appointment goes well. We're here to catch you if you need support. (well, we're at best a slowchat and at worst a forum so not entirely - but you know what I mean)
Thanks for this!

Hey couch! Just got informed I'm going to be training as backup for a position outside my team. Should the person retire, I'll be a shoo-in for the position. The good news is I'm extremely qualified for it, and it's a 12% increase. Whoo!

Congratulations! It's good to know they think you do good work and appreciate you - otherwise they wouldn't be offering, right?

Well, I read one of my 4 chapters and reflected on it. I would have done more, but I want to save some for later on in the week as we have to log on and post something at least 3 days during the week, so I don't want to do it all today and not have anything left for later and screw my participation grade over.

I had to google y-jacking. But it sounds like a lot of pressure to me - have someone listen in to what you say, and either take you as an example or give examples of how you should (in their opinion) do different. And it's not even a supervisor - it's a colleague. Again, sounds like a lot of pressure.

NP appointment wasn't entirely what I had hoped but it was a compromise. She agreed to take me off Tegretol, with the possibility to reduce latuda to least possible dosage to still be effective. So, not great but ok. And I agreed to at least get a second opinion...psych testing if medicaid will cover it. But the place does it but wants you to be full patient. So second opinion.

They admitting doctor told me today they are officially calling it a TIA. They gave me four baby aspirin right away. I'm not sure if they gave me TPA or not. I don't think so. I was surprised they didn't. I was here fast enough.

I was discharged out of ICU yesterday and went up to a regular medical floor. My blood is still not thin enough so I am still on a heparin drip. I may get to go home tomorrow if labs are good!

They are not sure what caused the TIA but I believe it had something to do with my needing to go off Coumadin before and during my recent surgery. I began the Coumadin again when they suggested....but my blood did not thin back out fast enough, imo.

Argh, it was sooo scary! I lost strength in both legs...and my friend called me..I wasn't making sense. I felt confused. My voice sounded like I had done massive drugs..slurring my words. Scary times.

I'm glad you are okay. You would know if you were given TPA; you sort of have to sign your life away because there is a danger in administering it. Hopefully you won't have any residual effects of the TIA. Glad you are doing better.
Thanks for this!

This. So much hatred. I get this every time there's a crop of new hires. They aren't going to end up in my unit, yet they have to sit and observe. Due to my accommodating nature, I get two a day. I hate having someone in my space, looking over my shoulder, and playing on their phone at the same time. Fun times.
