I've just come from scrubbing the bathroom. My arms are shaking and my sinuses are holding the scent of bleach. We have a fiberglass tub with cubbies and even the ceiling was gross. My family is forbidden entry until it airs out and the shower curtain comes out of the wash, ewww. Happy Saturday couchies!

Thats my plan for today. I washed the shower curtain last night to shame myself into doing the rest of the work today!

That option is also available.

I fear it will earn us Reproving Glares from SD, though.

Unaluna good luck! I've discovered one of the shower curtain hooks is missing. Someone must have taken it down or seen it somewhere, but nobody's admitting to it. I need a round of Reproving Glares from SD. That should bring them to their senses!
Thanks for this!

So I had a really good session with t. I cried when I told her I was afraid she was mad at me, and while I was telling her how sorry I am for the stuff I read to her last week and for all the texting and emailing in between, and she said of course she was not mad and that I had nothing to be sorry for and she cried a tiny bit too I noticed. She asked what was going on between us, where the push-pull was coming from. I told her the stuff I figured out about projecting stuff about my mother on her. And that I recognized the "I'm not good enough" complex had been activated again. Related to my mother and within my marriage. And we talked most of the session about my marriage and about money. She made a kind of peculiar-sounding comment today. She said "sometimes you're so stubborn. But today you're soft and open." What I was, was feeling very vulnerable. Anyway, she's not mad and she's not kicking me out and we're going to do some more energy work soon, which I'm glad for, I find it very relaxing. I am so relieved!!

I need to do a deep-clean of my house too. But I'm waiting until it's closer to when my mother and sister in law get here - they're coming for son's graduation end of next month. I am SO thankful to have no carpet in this house. Mopping with my swiffer wet-jet is so much easier than vacuuming for some reason.

Time to go cook some fresh green beans and cauliflower!

A pic of some cockatoos fooling around at the beach yesterday.
The quality isn't too good as it was taken on my phone.

i'm glad it went well. i've had many times i was walking into Ts office thinking he was going to be some big mean bully to me, and/or terminate me. i know how scary that is!! i have empathy for your fears of that because i know how much it tears me up sometimes

They are the funniest birds. I tried to get a pic of them hanging upside down and swinging about and flapping their wings.

I would not waste my reproving glares on such an activity. I would simply take my gin and dubonnet into the sound proof private library, shut the door, and wait for the unseemly hoopla to pass.

You know you'll end up finding at least three of us hiding under your desk giggling like 10 year olds

I'm beginning to wonder if there's a force in the known universe that can get it through to my ex that we are never, ever, EVER, getting back together.
I mean, he already has two misdemeanors for order of protection violations, and he's looking at at least one more... The reality avoidance is strong with that one...

I totally would, if I didn't know for sure that he'd get the complete opposite of what I meant out of it. He's quite delusional:/

Do you really drink QMs SD?!
BBC NEWS | UK | Magazine | Who still drinks Dubonnet?
I used to drink it with lemonade......
So hard to find Dubonnet now - they even had trouble finding it at Lords!
But I love Sipsmiths with a twist of lime.
And Balvenie on the rocks.
