(((Ellahmae))) I only ever tried one thing to sleep - trazodone - it made me sleep that's for sure, but it also gave me terrible nightmares. I'm thinking good thoughts for you hoping you find the right thing to help you sleep.

That's what I started on last night. I already have awful nightmares so I'm supposed to keep track of nightmare occurrences and then if they worsen she'll try something else. I'm not sure what else she can try as this was one of the last ones because of the nightmare factor she didn't want to give it to me. Didn't have nightmares last night just made me out of my ever living mind. Hoping T doesn't get upset or admit me for my texts last night that I sent, that I thought was a dream but turned out to be real...

Ellahmae, I hope you get the meds figured out soon!
Growly, I'm sorry it's so hard. Grieving IS normal and you're not pathetic!!

I took benadryl last night because I was itching so badly. That's on top of my daily Zyrtec! Allergies are so bad already even though I get shots. Can anyone relate?

I'm depressed about getting older. T said to think about what I want to do with the rest of my life. Tough question.

That's what I just quit. Way too drowsy and spacey, and couldn't stop eating. Made my appetite INSANE.

Yea, stay away from antipsychotics for sleep. Most of them (not all) increase appetite. I am schizoaffective, so antipsychotics are my main medication (I have been on several) and they all have increased my appetite. I was 95 pounds in 2008 before starting antipsychotics and am now 155 pounds. Risperdal (the first antipsychotic I was on) wore me out. The first year I was on it, I would be out cold within 30 minutes of taking it, then I built up a tolerance for it.

Thanks, squirrel. It wasn't good for me. I was pretty much a blank empty depressed human but I slept and ate. Ate everything. When you have an ED adding a med that causes more food issues, it just wasn't good. I hope the trazadone works better for me for sleep. I was on a small dose of the seroquel but it certainly wrecked havoc upon me.

I'll make you a deal - I'll do the weightlifting for both of us and you can eat the cake for both of us.

What was that Seinfeld plot? George and Jerry together made one whole person?

Morning couch. I woke up about 8am today and did some laundry. Last load is in the dryer now. I still have to put away what is already done, but it's clean.

Had T yesterday. It went so-so. We talked about me being a "hermit" and "doing too much for others while receiving nothing in return". I am happy with being alone and helping others, but T seems to think that my life could be more fulfilling.

Trying to work out prescription coverage for my injection. I know have insurance that covers it where I pay 20% of the cost (and then I can use the manufacturer's co-pay assistance card to bring it down to $10). However, I just found out today, my insurance only allows for two 30-day fills on maintenance medications, then is must be filled for 90-days. I called the co-pay assistance program to see if I could still use it for 90-days and just pay $30. They said it is only good for 30-day fills. Grrrrr...... Trying to fight me insurance now to let me only fill 30-days on just the injection (the other 2 maintenance meds I can fill for 90-days as long as pdoc will write them for that). The thrills of insurance. Without the co-pay assistance card, it is still too expensive. A 90-day supply at 20% of the cost is over $800. Maybe I could get a hardship exception with insurance because of the cost and say that I cannot afford that much at once and need to pay a little at a time each month. I dunno. I just got my fill for 30-days though, so I don't have to worry about it until next month, but I am trying to get it taken care of berforehand.

Haha now that I switched meds hopefully I won't eat so much. I don't even like cake! I do like weight lifting though

Sparky sent me a couple of supportive email which is nice. Long term T finally sent names of qualified T's in my new city and made time for me next week.

I hate overwhelming emotions. Its making this whole thing complicated

For me the Adult Swim show "Off the Air" does that to me. But it is transfixing in a dada-esque sort of way.

Saw this, and thought of Trailrunner (because I had not heard of coconut oil before she mentioned it here...)

Also, I miss DelusionsDaily. Hope she is okay.

(and I miss wikid, and Jersey, and Ike, and Aloneandafraid, and lots of others... I hope they are all doing well. I'm glad RTS and chopin stop by from time to time.)

I was so frustrated at not seeing Crocus' picture, not even when I clicked on it. I went to reply and i could see it in the quotes. I am baffled.

I have woken up in a carp mood, the puppy jostled my arm wheni was taking a sip of coffee and now i am sitting here with coffee-soaked jeans, glaring at the puppy and wanting to cry. It only just occurred to me that I could change my jeans, put the puppy outside and get another cup of coffee. I need to knock this mood on the head.

This is baffling - now I can't see it, either! Will try to edit....

[edited to add] The link was apparently a bit wonky so I uploaded it as a file instead.

I love the phrase upside the head. There was a song in the 80s wasn't there?

I am managing to do things, like fold the washing rom the past fortnight and cleaned the loungeroom, so I may be ok. I will probably collapse later on and someone can build me a blanket fort.
