An update from the prev. couch post:

I brought up the incident, and told him i felt he was angry with me but did not communicate directly....instead he commented on our last session being a waste and ignored my written and verbal apology for the rupture. it took him a moment to recall...he said he vaguely remembered. and when he is frustrated with a client, he uses "opposite action" skill , so he can sort out if it is justified or not.
at times its not , so he keeps that in check. if it is , then he communicates it with the client.
i told him he did a very bad job of "opposite action" skill, since i was fully aware that he was frustrated with me..so what was the point of the skill?
he goes how r u so sure. i again told him his comment in next session showed he was not over the rupture. he goes i dont carry over frustration for that long from one session to next.
i said hmm..well in this case you did.
i guess didnt really get anywhere...talking in circles, that i was perceiving something that was not there...his comment and ignoring my apology were not addressed. he kept on saying if he was frustrated , he was trying to keep it to himself to check if it was justified.
he said he will check his notes to recall the details and the sequence.

thank you for all the replies, i wouldnt have been brave enough to bring this up on my own.
my T was also surprised that i was able to be upfront and direct.
amazing !
again thank you for all the replies, they helped a great deal !!!!!

Omg!! I always thought it was a creepy face too, the goodwill logo. It IS a good when I look at now. That's crazy. I guess us creative types see things differently....

Must've forgotten that my office is filled with hungry barracudas and not acquaintances or friends. Rough lesson learned, even those who joke with you will repeat your side of the conversation and conveniently not mention their part.

The Goodwill logo drove me to find this link with other hidden meaning logos: 24 Cool Logos with Hidden Symbols

I love the one with city direct. And I did not notice the arrow in Fed Ex or the A-Z connection in Amazon.

The session I thought was rubbishy yesterday and a waste of time may not have been. Last night I had several dreams about my brother and woke with a realisation and lot more calmer.

It is freezing today the puppy and I are curled up in bed again. I am supposed to go to rental viewing at 11:30 but I might cancel as I feel so wiped. That is relatively freezing, not literally. I am a big wuss

A helix is specifically a three-dimensional spiral, like a spring.

Goodwill's logo creeps me out, though. For a long time I thought it was a person, not a g.
Worse! It's half a person.

Large complexes are better regulated and more likely to be sued. It is difficult to prove systematic bias against a landlord who does only one let a year.

Your T handled this very badly.

He should accept that you heard what you heard and you saw what you saw.

Then there are two follow ups:

1. "How did you feel? What did that remind you of?" etc. This way the emotion is not wasted.

2. "What I actually meant was this. How could I have communicated that better?" Then you have some reason to suppose that things will be better in the future.

Yes that's what my drawing represented but nothing came up on helix but we had to go with spiral.

I think he didnt remember the incident at all .

He had nothing to add or recollect from that session.

It would have been better if he had admitted to it...rather than pretend.
Its fair...he doesnt remember details of our session 6 months ago. I wont hold that against him.

I'm so sorry. I still have bad memories of my neighbor's tree being cut down when I was young. But thanks for reminding me why I live in the town I do, and am not moving back to my hometown, even though it would be cheaper. Here tree cutting is practically a crime.
Thanks for this!

I came home and it was gone. I was stunned, the real estate could have given some notice or something.
