Morning couch.
Well, I've been tired the last few days. Got a call while I was cooking on Tuesday afternoon from another CVS than I work at asking if I could work for them that night. However, my phone did not ring and I did not get the voicemail until after it was too late. ![]() I slept away most of the day yesterday. Guess I needed the sleep after not getting much earlier in the week. I am well rested now though. Phone rang this morning while I was in the bathroom. I came back in and saw I had a missed call from an unfamiliar number, but no voicemail, so I googled the number and found that it was from another CVS. I got the voicemail 15 minutes later (better than hours later like on Tuesday). They said they had someone call out for tomorrow and asked if I could work (all day 8-4). Yay! Extra hours. I need the extra hours and if my store cannot provide them I will take them from other stores. ![]() Pdoc is not far from my CVS, so I will swing by after pdoc to grab my labcoat and nametag for tomorrow. At least my pharm manager is trying to help me out with more hours and suggesting me to other stores when they call him looking for people to fill in. Have C next week on Wed, Thurs, Fri. It was supposed to be Tues. too, but my CPR class ended up being that day, so now it will only be 3 days. Oh well. |

Hey Granite-thanks for asking. I'm alright. Being at work is a good thing for me, it's just the endless hours at night, plus alcohol and I aren't working well together.

I am wounded by such an unjust accusation. Just trying to let you all share your punning skills with others. You have outgrown the couch. It is no longer a challenge here.

Anyone who loves puns would love my favourite radio show 'I'm sorry I haven't a clue''s round on the Uxbridge English Dictionary. It's funny definitions for everyday words. Here's a few: http://www.bbcamerica.com/anglopheni...ish-dictionary
I have a whole dictionary of them ![]() |

![]() A lot of people in the UK haven't heard of it either, bizarrely, but my Dad (like me) is a radio 4 listener so I grew up listening to it. I was really sad when Humph died, I wondered how it could even continue, but I have always liked Jack Dee and I think he's a good host. Very different but he brings his own style to it quite well (I was listening today, actually!). Glad to meet a fellow fan too! ![]() |

Afternoon (or is it evening...it is 5pm), couch.
I just ate some Ramen after getting home from pdoc. I got to pdoc's early so I was sitting in the car and got to see him, his wife (also the office manager), and the receptionist all come out for a smokefest. Lol. I don't care that he smokes, his choice, but I just find it funny they all came out to have a cigarette together. Heh. Pdoc appt went okay. He completely forgot that he temporarily increased my Invega and was confused when I tried to explain it to him and he had to look back in my chart to clarify for himself. Oh well, guess that means I can hold off filling the other dose increase scripts as he may not remember again and I would rather not remind him again as I would prefer it not be increased. He asked if I was ready for the shot and before I could answer, he goes "wait, don't answer that...of course you aren't ready...you're never ready". I just chuckled because I was pretty sure he was kidding. He asked if it hurt afterwards. I said no. His remark to that: "I didn't think so because I didn't feel a thing either." Haha (sarcastically). , Asked me if I was taking my medication...what he prefaced as the "dreaded question". I honestly could say that I am this time and he said he could tell because I was more alert, my speech was more coherent, and I was making eye contact. Whatever that means... My mom bailed my brother out of jail this afternoon. He is going to be staying at an extended stay hotel until he can save enough to get a place of his own. He starts working for the new company my dad started working for on Tuesday. We'll see how all this turns out. |

I had a dream that I rode an 1100cc motorcyle into my T's room but because of my height a man had to help me get off and said that T wouldn't be long. I was dressed in t-shirt, shorts and bare feet. Really odd. I never wear shorts outside the house and can't even walk very well in bare feet. Maybe the dress was to do with being vulnerable. I haven't ridden a motorcylce sinc ei was a teen.
ETA riding a motorcycle signifies making progress and actively taking part in something. So maybe I am ready to be vulnerable and take a more active part in T. |

One of the (many) things I've learned from my t about dream work is when you're helping someone else figure out a dream, to always start with "If it were my dream, I would think about...." because everyone's dream-language is so much their own. It's fascinating stuff, I think, listening deeply to your inner world by working with your dreams. I keep a notebook and pen next to my bed so I can scribble down every little scrap of dreams that I remember. Sometimes I get a few words, sometimes for those "big" dreams, they come with so much detail, that I sit up in bed and write 2 full pages front and back to get it all down. I have many notebooks filled with dreams from the 4+ years I've been writing them down now. But yeah - sorry I get carried away on this subject - I think when you have figured something out, it just feels like this big ol' ah HA! to me, where something just so resonates you feel it down to your toes. That's how I know when I've got it right. Could you tell this is one of my favorite subjects of all? |
