I remember when Walmarts first started selling food. All they sold when I was a kid was toys, clothes, etc. It was not until late high school/early college that I remember there starting to be "Super Walmarts". Super Targets soon followed here.

So, no tired right now. Could be doing posts in the discussion forum for my masters class, but I am being a bad student and procrastinating on that. I left my planner at work as well and don't work again until Monday. Hopefully, I will remember to bring it home then. I am not driving into work tomorrow, just to get my planner.

Pharm manager had the schedule for the first week of school posted today. He totally forgot that I was back in school job stating that week. He had me coming in at 3 two afternoons and working a 9-7 that Friday. Ooppss. He was a little irritated when I reminded him and said that he was trying to help me out and give me more hours. I politely explained that once the school year was back in session, I was okay with about 20 hours a week because I had my school income coming in. He has to rewrite the whole schedule now. I feel bad, but I've been reminding him for 2 or 3 weeks that my availability was changing once school was back in session and gave him the date several times. He's just forgetful. Oh well. Not my fault.

The chameleon is playing hide and seek with me again. Why does he like doing that?!? I am not afraid of him....chameleons are harmless, but I am worried he is going to die of starvation. He still looks pretty lively zipping around though, so I still want to know what he is finding to eat in the house?!?
Thanks for this!

Well, I am still up. Just tried logging into my bank account. I misread the system page. It is down for upgrades until 3:30am EST. 30 more minutes.

I just spent some time updating my resume to send in to a few teaching jobs I applied for that requested one. Keeping my fingers crossed.

I have been walking around the house with my head cocked, listening, because I heard a strange noise when I woke up and it hasn't stopped.

I think it's actually just ringing in my ears.

I think that's therapist-speak for "I made a mistake." I don't remember my therapist's exact words when this happens because I translate it into "I messed up" immediately upon hearing it.

Could you maybe talk to her about this? I think it's an entirely human desire, to want to hear that from someone when warranted.

Oh, that email's already been sent.

Their language is deliberately indirect and self-absolving to my mind; it would do them good to talk like the rest of us do in relationships.

Morning, couch.

I am up and ready to start my day.

Quarter till 10, off today. Going to play with my doggie brother a little later today while my mom goes somewhere. I haven't seen him in weeks. He is a fun dog. Still young and energetic.

Well, I need to try to start cleaning my room now. Yes, I still have not done that.

I agree - just like regular mature humans who take responsibility for their screw ups in any situation.

my T so has always been good about admitting she has made a mistake. even with all this crap about seeing her privately she kept apologizing about putting this all on me. it didnt seem to make a difference to me at the time . but she has always been willing to admit she has made a mistake .i like that about her but some times it makes me feel like i need to reassure her

Oh, I TOTALLY know the awesome feeling of having therapists apologize.

Current T -- after what feels like approximately 37,486 conversations over the last 7 odd months -- said that she may have "erroneously" done XYZ and things she said were "unhelpful".

But, of course, this only happened when I told her that I'm about to decide between her and potential new T in the next week or so -- very dramatic etc. But, the immediate change in her demeanor has been eye-opening to say the least.

Anyhow, when I did get the seeming apology, I just wanted to stop everything, type it up, have her sign it in the presence of a notary and frame it for posterity.

Yeah, but if her job was chopping wood, and the logs weren't even, and they had to be because we're building a cabin, it would be better for her to say "I made a mistake" than "I misjudged the evenness of the logs." A sentence like that comes *after* "I made a mistake."

Actually, I think lunacroc is better - croculuna when said aloud comes out as 'croak, unaluna," and no one wants that.
