It is a rigged system so I hope you don't take your review to heart too much. Squirrel you are so hard working!!! If you feel taken advantage of don't be afraid of going to a rival pharmacy.
Squirrel, growly's right about that - the corporations not allocating enough budget for proper pay raises - it sucks but it's been true everywhere I've worked. I've had managers in 3 different companies tell me that, and they always say that they're only "allowed" to give so many people anything above"Meets Expectations" even when they push and argue and try to do it anyway but it gets rejected and they are told to change it. I've had them give me "Meets" in categories where I could tell they wanted to give me higher because of the paragraphs of praise that came along with it. You are such a dedicated, hard worker and should feel so good about yourself!!

She said something about the top and bottom part of the heart muscle are not quite working together, so they will be doing lots and lots of tests today to try to figure out what is going on. They did scans last night of liver, pancreas, gall bladder, etc. just trying to figure out what is going on. Dad's had spells like this before and they've never found anything to explain -- everything always comes back normal. But this time the EKG and bloodwork showed something is going on; they just don't know what it is at this point. Liver tests are off, but they don't know why. He's not a heavy drinker, so something else is apparently going on.

Mom sounds good and said she would let me know if they need me to go down there, but at this point it is just a lot of sitting around waiting for tests, etc. Dad is 85 and has always been in excellent health, but old age is settling in. It's a blow to his ego I think. Both Mom and Dad are sharp as tacks still, but they have realized in the last few years that physically they have to respect their age at this point and take these things seriously.

Afternoon, couch.

I am home from C. I need to submit my assignment. I finished it last night but forgot to submit it. It is only one day late so it is only 10% off. I should have turned it in though, so it is no one's fault but my own.

May back out of C on Friday. I was only supposed to work with him 3 hours and got offered a 10 hour CVS shift. I would make more money with the CVS. Albeit, I would be working longer and all day, but it may be worth it. It is in a store that is relatively slow.

More unfortunate drug reactions and now hair loss from the new regime. Emotions are roller coastering all over. It is like every time I leave the room and come back, I won't know what the mood will be or what new side effect may have popped up.

I do believe in esp. Omg. I had JUST taken down the garbage and brought up some laundry, and recommitted to my exercise program for the month, and was feeling all empowered and stuff, and just sat down to cool off and drink some water, and my phone rang. My aunt-in-law. I just heard ts voice saying, "you dont have to answer." I cant afford to get any more depressed. I was just starting to crawl out, literally just! Well my voice mail program transcribed her italian message into spanish so idk wth she said! I will listen to it when i can. Hey granite i might have to go with you to your appointment this week to listen to it! Im not doing it alone!

Eta - i think i am starting to see what the missing element is on the couch and boy is it hitting the fan.

)))SD(((

It was like that with my father too. It was a great shock because he'd always been unemotional before (although he was slightly more emotionally expressive than my mother).

Thanks - I hope your father is doing better.
And that your husband does well with his surgery later this week.

Thanks SD.

Latest update is that all of the heart and liver numbers that were so high yesterday are starting to come down. They think perhaps he passed a gall stone which might have set things off. Still waiting on results of tests, etc.

I hope things have improved for your person stop dog. i can't imagine the stress of caring for someone but I bet your unflappable nature makes this person feel better/secure. Just a hunch.

Is anybody watching americas got talent? The first group, a dance group called Flip, looks uncannily like my and crocus' sand dance. Not saying they are copying from us, but it is suspicious. So many moves are identical. Im not kidding!

Evening, couch.

I am up and about after taking a 3 hour nap. I guess I needed the sleep. Hopefully, I will still sleep tonight.

Still waiting to see if pdoc will respond...he may not.

Need to try to get my room and car cleaned out before school starts next week. That way I can have a fresh start to a new year.

Here's a couple pics of the wash about a mile from my house, still running like crazy from the recent monsoon! (No, we don't drive IN them, but we do walk around the barricades to get close enough for good pictures!) There were about a dozen people out there just now taking pics. There are many washes in different places all around town, they really do help with all the rain.

Okay....

I REALLY want to know what in the world he is finding to eat...

Mr. Gecko just poked out form behind the dresser again. He has been in my room for weeks, popping out randomly. I would think he would have starved to death by now. I wonder what he is finding to eat. What do geckos eat anyways?

ETA: It is baby gecko as he keeps getting a little bigger each time.

That's what I thought. I doubt there are any crickets in my room...I would hear those. Now I really wonder what he is eating?

Is he going outside somehow, eating, and coming back in to annoy me?
Thanks for this!
