Art, I'm so glad it went well, and I am especially glad your therapist owned her reaction on Saturday.

Just got home from T. (I could not face going into work afterwards.)

granite, your father was so much out of line that the line was not even visible from where he was. His concern for you should not be about him.

art, I'm glad it went well.

BCM, I think QuietMind is right and I hope you'll go see your T before his leave.

Hugs, in case anybody would like one.

*Hugs* I hope you treat yourself gently and well. I fail at self-care but after therapy, I try to treat myself as though I'm physically ill (I guess because the idea of it makes me slightly less hard on myself).

That's a shirt I'd like to wear to therapy too!

Thank you. I have a lot of work to do, which is good because it forces me to think about other things. And I bought some comfort-ish food for lunch (I mean, it's real food, just things I particularly like.)

How are you?

Comfort food is good! I'm doing okay this week, for which I'm grateful. I treated myself to one of my fav dishes for lunch - beef lagsana. I hope work goes well for you
Thanks for this!

So. Today is my mom's birthday. I need to call her and wish her a happy birthday. I'm having a hard time talking myself brave enough to do it. It's making my fingers tingle posting this.

After her her treatment of me on Thanksgiving, there is not one piece of me that wants to call her. There is that one part of me that feels like a bad girl if I don't call her. Heck! That part of me feels like a bad girl just for not wanting to call her.

I just need to go ahead and do it and get it over with.

Is there a part that really doesn't care and doesn't get triggered by her? If so, ask that one do the calling.

Many, many years ago, I attended folkehøjskole in Norway for a year. My favorite memory is being awakened by Santa Lucia carolers bearing hot chocolate and rolls. Actually, I think it's my best memory ever.

That would be a super idea ATAT if she wasn't so anti tech.

Ruh Roh that's an idea. I hadn't thought of that. It is something I haven't done before - actually asking a part of me to do something for me. It sounds like a perfect thing for the 12yo to do for me.

The ecard sure does sound like a great idea, if I could.

OMGYES (though not too hard, and I wanna watch)

Trailrunner, maybe it's a good idea to do it as soon as you can make yourself do it? Just to have it over with? Just a thought.
Thanks for this!

I shall have to think of a way to make it to all the Couchies from Yurtland to Arizona (or possibly even further west) on the 13th, to wake you all with hot chocolate and saffron buns. (Coffee is actually more traditional, but I can do chocolate, too.) I guess I'll have to read up on how Santa Claus does it.

Okay, but just so you know, the bop is free of charge, but it's pay per view.
